djbmc
macbook pros r too expensive, a 15 inch macbook pro, dual core 2.66ghz with 4gb memory and a 320gb hard drive would cost £1531 without any extras. A mac mini with the same memory and a bigger hard drive, and only a slightly slower processor (2.53 which you'll never notice the difference) is £745, that's less than half the price! then u can buy a top monitor for like £170 AND a fairly decent windows laptop if u needed to as well, and it would still cost u less. trust me, mac minis r the future. Ephren Taylor
The latest mockups of the apple tablet (iTab / iSlate / Whatever they decide to call it on wed) are looking quite good. Don't know if i'd cop one just yet... Reading a magazine on this type of device tho >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> New Macbook Pro is top of the list if they release updates this week. Ephren Taylor
Agreed... OSX would be a goood look, although i've heard some nice things about OS 4 and beyond for iPhone.. Check this video which shows the potential of magazines on these type of devices

Afroman
That I slate will put them Ebook's to bed. I dont see the major Hype in this. But apple fans will be apple fans. This will do well. I epxect a few rebores company to follow [cough]- MSI [cough] I think apple should do a netbook personally.
Guest Malcolm Tucker
i think the macbook air was apple version of a netbook realy
Afroman
Wouldnt really say the M.book Air is similar to the netbook. Price wise & size wise.. I just think they made a ten inch lappy with 3 usb ports runnin osx, macbook aluminium finish just under 4bills will do quite well.. In terms of flexibility I will rather have a N.book than an Air tbh,

Flex
i read that its either gonna be iphone os or slimmed down snow leopard, as it would definitely be capable to handle it. but yeh, browsing on the move on that would be pretty amazing, would be sick as an all round media device i reckon.
