Recommended Posts

inspired by an off shoot thought from that drench advert tune lol...saw this on youtube, fabio is in it, nice lil watch if u want seen it already, was baaare nestalgic* cos i remember hearing some of the commercial tunes as a yout...didnt really get wot that dodgey drug band was bout but anyways lol...but most of it shows the emergence of raves in this country anyways, that wave of early electronic music. have to thank it in sum ways cos alot of genres now wouldnt be around if it wernt for this kinda movement...jungle/dnb, garage, modern genres of house, hardcore, etc....

THIS VIDEO IS ABOUT THE RISE OF HOUSE AND ACID HOUSE MUSIC IN THE LATE 80S AND THE CULTURE OF IT IN THE UK. WITH STORYS FROM RAVERS THE POLICE DJS AND PROMOTORS GIVES U A INSIGHT ON HOW THIS CHANGED THE WAY WE DID THINGS IN ENGLAND LOADS OF FOOTAGE OF RAVES NEWS CLIPS AND OTHER THINGS GOING ON AROUND THE YEAR OF 1989 A MUST WATCH 4 PPL WHO USE TO RAVE BK THEN OR PPL WHO LOVED THE YEAR OF 1989.

ye i no it still happens, but it aint the same as those early days. :D theres alot of genres that came out of the "rave scene", thers like a variety now...but i think they all kinda diverged from their original nature, as in what they did for people socially n pyscologically....some more so than others, n a large part to blame is commercialisation n mainstream attention. ppl wanting to use it as a business etc...
