sometimes you recover by training again, so in your case, 4days is enough rest time, to begin doing chest again but with light weights and high repsyou should notice the pain reduce by the end of your chest work out. when you still feel pain after that length of time, its your muscle fibres that are still stretched which is causing the pain.by your next chest workout it shoudlnt hurt as much
