Talking pointsCassano made the final squad for ItalyNo Flamini or Cisse for FranceSidney Govu wearing the no.10 jersey, Zidane's old number? On paper who looks the strongest??What players shouldn't be making the trip??I feel Flamini should be there, its a joke really

Clichy, Sagna and Flamini should have been in the squad, If france don't do well people will point to Leaving Trezeguet out as well seen as he's been in good form this season.Babel has been replaced by Bhoularouz through injury.I'm backing Germany for this tournament, they are geared towards major tournaments and they actually have a good team this time.

Alot of Arsenal fans on this sight are actually happy that he never made it.Raul has had a good season and should be there imo.You need to edit out Babel and replace him with Boularouz
Peeping flojo's post, how could france also forget Clichy and Sagna? On paper Spain's looks the strongest but be on some 'shook ones' flex when it comes down to it.

Nah Clichy isint a big case, only with Arsenal fansAbidal is more experienced and Evra is betterYou either blood the un-proven younger or go with experience, Raymond chose the latterSanga is better than Francois Clerc imo, a case can be made for himIma enjoy watching Afellay, Quaresma & Nasri

flam sagna and clichy should of made it but at least we know they wont be getting injured an will be fresh at the start of the seasonspain look best on paper but they wont be winning anythingjust have to go with the germans aswell team looks solid hope lehmann has a classic moment and messes it up for them tho

As the Spainish coach said how many cups have they won with Raul? None so it was about time they moved on even though he had a good season. The Raul era is over and may actually be a good thing for the Spainish.Going to agree with Flojo on ther Germans, they just know when to bring it to the majors. This is a good German squad, strong midfield and frontmen.

if the formation is right spain can deliverhas to be 3 in midfield for me cesc, iniesta+insurance policy playersilva, torres+villa pick themselvescould do a front 3 in a line but silva in the whole almost creating a diamond 4villa & torres can stretch the defence, both will run the channels using their pace, lethal cutting insideback 4 is a worry but ramos, puyol+casillas is a stiff corewho will play upfront for portugal

Weird how some countries never produce great players in certain positions...Italy = WingersBrazil = DefendersPortugal = Strikers
I guess its just national emphasis.Italy = Slow Defensive minded build up play which isn't very wide.Brazil = Technical attacking football.Portugal = I dunno really but since the Pinto brothers they've had no good attackers

I've watched alot of the French league and Clerc is far better then Sagna so that selection is warranted.Looking at the squads Spain should win but as always they flatter to deceive on the big stage.Cassano deserves another chance imo, hopefully he doesn't go to pot this time round, ha.

If you had said this to me yesterday, I would've berated you but I've sen him play...TBH, Sagna & Clerc both look better than Sagnol but Domenech is big on experience so boy...Govou ahead of Ben Arfa though, WTF.

Cassano being included in the italy squad is a masterstroke, he's been in good form and is probably the only italian who can give Tottis spark. If they found a way of getting Cassano, Di Natale, Quagirella and toni in the same team - boy!!!
