Santander are doing this student account ting this year.

Free insurance on my Xbox 360, Blackberry, iPod Touch and my laptop.

jhhheeeeze

f*ck a railcard

dont get gassed. the railcard is more useful. Im guessing you haven't looked into the insurance terms, which kinds of damage are covered for example and what the excess is for the different claims

f*ck a railcard from when there's a Greyhound service in the UK.

I fit into the insurance terms nicely and yes I read them all before signing.

If you are going to university outside of your home city a railcard that gives you 33% off all fares until you're 26 >>> anything else offered on the market at the moment.

The downsides to the santander insurance are:

They dont cover mobiles worth more than £500 (no iphone)

You need proof of purchase to show how much your items cost.

They dont cover theft unless there is evidence of a break in.

You can only make 2 claims per year.

You have to register all the goods for them to be eligible for the insurance

You can get contents insurance anywhere for cheap but my railcard has saved me hundreds since i started uni.

Moving back on the 26th evening.

6 lads, 4 big rooms, 2 small ones. Gonna try and propose a race round Nottingham to determine he rooms (as I'm the quickest). Will end up being out of the hat.

TBF small rooms are cool and I genuinely wouldn't mind, just my GF don't live in Notts so when she's up it's 3/4 days at a time where the other 3 with GF's theirs live there, so it'd be a pisstake if I got the smallest room.

Meh.

f*ck*ng hate moving sh*t back and forth. Found out I got a full month off for Christmas this year, 10th-10th.

Last year it was 18th-9th and I went to all the last day drink ups etc, I'll try and hand my coursework in early, hopefully I can come home on like the 3rd or soemthing....
