Link?Although im quite content with the current version
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/I think the older versions are slightly simpler. Not huge differences really but they've been 'developing' it a while. You might go back to the older versions.
From it merges my subs with da film i cudnt care what it looks ikeThe last VLC didnt look that great though, aint used it in a while.
Well to me cos how simple VLC was, that's why it was so greatly used - well that's what I thought. Why, what do you use then?
really focks me off how when you're watching a video on the msn now playing thing it shows the pathany way, anyone got a linkim happy with it now, whats been changed?
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/It's supposedly been in development for a couple years, my main thing was I hoped it works with the 8-9 gig video files and works well, which so far it does.To me quite a few bug fixes and improvement on codecs which help with different types of video files. Interface changed slightly, stripped some of the simplicity I think but I'll get used to it, VLC has a tiny bit of colour. There's now a controller bar when in full screen mode when you roll the mouse so you can pause, play and adjust volume rather than right clicking. I think it's more vista compatible now too tbh, switches off aero temp thus saving resources to play files better, can't remember that happening before still.Codecs and the Subtitle thing has been changed (which I think are the main things), but haven't looked at the subtitle thing properly.Going by the responses most just seem to open avi's with it and that's all, so doubt those users will care too tough then.Changes from 0.8.6
