I remember everyone crowding round one walkman trying to listen to I love u, and the remix and me wondering what was on the cassette for everyone to be so hype...Anyway it musta been '02 times, but my cuz was at my yard and she tuned in a pirate station waiting to hear OI we were jammin for time waiting, then it came on.From when I heard it I saved that station to a preset, I'm not sure which station it was but after that I was listening weekly, thas roughly when I got into garage/grime, started hearing Rascal, JME and that was it.
