Max seemed to know about the robbery, potentially before & definitely after, proving if he was involved is near impossible, which makes him not guilty, however its why his downfall is the fact he didnt have a expensive lawyer, cos they done him dirty but its New Jersey, he should have known this. Man get three years probation just for smoking weed in Bergen County.That said it seems that Max's determination to not go back to prison, and snitching on her whereabouts, probably cos the robbery failed & he didnt get sh*t was equally his downfall, cos no doubt in those 2 minutes the police told her that Max gave her up, so she sang the wavyest hooks EVER.

On September 26th 2007, the search for Conway brought Bergen County Prosecutors Office Detective Dave Borzotta to Max B’s residence at 1950 Andrews Avenue in the Bronx. According to the detective, Mr. Wingate was very helpful.“Mr. Wingate dealt himself in,” Borzotta would later recall at trial. He was forthcoming about his dealings with Ms. Conway and even told them addresses she was known to frequent. Max revealed that she could be at “Murda” Mike’s, where stolen property was later found. Max also told them about Sin City, close to where they ultimately caught her. Max gave the officer his cell number and even called him on more then one occasion during the preliminary investigation.

Jesus.Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.That article was a good read, filled in a lot of the holes in my understanding of the story. But for Max to get 75 years for his role, especially based on such shoddy testimony, is just unbelievable.
