If it wasn't for the Jim Jones issue with his publishing/contract Max would've got signed to major a long time ago and would've probably had enough money to get a serious lawyer instead of the real life Lionel Hutz.
He would've killed it with the features and ghost writing. His hooks, melodies and bars was too wavy to stay underground. Add to the fact that he had in-house producers like Grease and Young Los giving him a signature sound plus the way his character was you could easily see him getting opportunities outside of music.
He helped make Jim Jones relevant and wrote the biggest crossover hit of his career(Ballin')
His hype grew after he left Jim Jones to the point where a label would've signed him up and invested enough money to take him to the next level but Jim wouldn't let go of the publishing
Guys like Pap and Saigon had mixtape hype because they was lyrical but to crossover you need hit records with catchy hooks and Max's hooks>>>>____
