Swimming and gym

So I signed back up to a fancy gym last night (haps) and I sorted everything out diet, routine etcI was just curious if I alternated between weights and swimming daily would it be coolSo say I worked out Monday, swam Tuesday, worked out Wed, swam Thurs etc.I know that your meant to rest for 24 hours to let your muscles recover but I thought that swimming with a steam after would be okay.Would it?

its not too bad but it depends on how intensive ur workout is and on what part.i wouldn't do heavy legs session and then go swim, you could also get muscle pulls and cramps too due to fatigue.maybe you can swim in the morning and gym in the evening? its better to swim few hours before gym than the other way roundswimming isnt bad for cardio, i just said that its bad for a 6pac lol.
