Rich Kid, Poor Kidalice2.jpgAliceIn Britain, the wealth gap is one of the biggest in the developed world, but what does it look like? Alice and Natalie are both teenagers. They both have younger brothers. They are both very strong-willed. They both straighten their hair at the weekend. They live just a stone's throw from each other, but their experience of life, from holidays to daily preoccupations, are a million miles apart. Separated by the wealth gap, they live in different worlds. Their paths never cross. natalie1.jpgNatalieAlice turns right out of her front door to go to school, but she is too frightened to turn left. That's the 'dangerous' end of the street where 'the estate' is. That is where Natalie lives. Natalie doesn't know anyone in the big houses at the 'posh' end of the road. What sets them apart? And what happens when their lives collide? Do you think this really happens in London?

more so in london than anywhere else. like the divide can be HUGE and live almost on the same street. its nuts.
That's one of the things I always notice here.Where I live estates are always seperated from the other areas, the nice places are in different areas, but in London they're literally next door to each other.
