I am glad to be back on British soil.Rio was a sick holiday but after going to a few major cities around the world its not hard to come to the conclusion that London ranks no.1I would deffo go back soon as Brazil has got so much to offer.

depends on how long you wanna spend to take in the country. its like the US in terms of size so you need to go one place at a time. if its just for a beach holiday, then rio, is the first choice and the south, but then theres other quieter and fun places like and recife, fortaleza up north. you also have rio grande where you can do lots of water sports.you wont be treated funny if you're a black tourist.. there is racism in brasil of course but once you're discovered to be a tourist you will be treated different. then again.. i beleive ur mixed race which = light skinned which = better treated anyway :!: then you also have sao paolo which is like going to NY and all that you can go to NY for cos its the NY of south america. if u want black culture then, bahia is the afro-brasilian cultural must see place... its historical ties to west africa and in particular nigeria are shocking.but you cant do all this in a one week holiday.. if you have 2 weeks or more then you can at least go to 2 or more cities. the exchange rate favors you so anything from #600+ spending money is enough for 10days or more...which depends on how u spend too. you can get hustled hard though price wise.. so watch out for things you dont buy in stores with price tags. if you took your girl there for 2 weeks, she will marry you guaranteed

If you can handle people staring at you like you are a piece of dirt then you will be fine. I did my best to tolerate it, but when you are constantly getting it and stuff like cashiers cutting their eyes when they are serviving you, not saying anytihng but then the next white customer gets a big friendly Hola and Gracias. Me and my girl noticed this. She was happy and friendly with everyone until she got to us and it was like we were about to cause her problems. We met some other couple and sat down at a table, he was ordering drinks, but because my girl and I didn't get drinks the waiter said we all had to leave, despite the fact there was a paying customer. Look around, and obviously we saw groups of people with only one person drinking, but lo and behold, they were white. LOLPerhaps it's just me. I don't like feeling like I'm being disrepsected especially when I'm being respectful. Almost beat up one flower selling guy until a police officer came and stared at me like I was the problem even though the flower selling guy was the problem. Also the airport security were blatently prejudiced. An entire line of people and the only passports you want to check are the black peoples? LOL. Some joke ting.But Barcelona was big. The weather was live, the city is very nice. If you do go make sure you check out La Ramblas, the beach and Nou Camp which I never got to check out as our stay wasn't long at all.

Nowhere near the degree it happened in Spain. And I have rarely experienced ANY of that if at all in London my whole time of living here.
