Problem I have with Welbeck is, I still don't know what he's capable off.

With Sturridge we at least know his level.

Which is mad to me, but then so is the fact he seems so likeable.

Not really, see like Walcott I know his level, I know if he added all the things people think he should've added with the tools he has, he'd be world class. He'd be the Thierry Henry, that he, Wenger and Arsenal fans all wanted him to be. Yet naturally he doesn't have it, never going to get those things, so he is what he is and if he concentrates, gets his confidence up he's effective but reached his ceiling. His 100th time subsituted at Arsenal, followed by his 100th goal for Arsenal, summed him up perfectly.

With Welbeck, he wants to be a striker, he appears to have all the attributes to play there. The issue is he's a probably a top footballer, just not a top striker. As he doesn't score the goals a striker at a top club must score. However the debate still goes on as due to injuries, non selection, we still don't know... He came to us when Giroud was injured and played in his preferred position and still to date doesn't have 20 career goals for us...
