Stopped off in New York now in Costa Rica. Don't think I'm over the jet lag yet. San Jose is kinda dead but heading to the Caribbean Coast.

It's funny the black people are originally from jamaica and still speak English with a Jamaican accent.

The food is like a mix of Latin and Caribbean, today had some Caribbean fish with rice and plantain.

Brazil was so fucking live.  Best holiday I have had ever.  Carnival is definitely a wicked experience, especially in the blocos.  My portuguese improved a decent amount out there as well so hopefully when I next return it should be a lot stronger.  Would definitely recommend going Salvador Carnival to anyone interested in going to Brazil.  World Cup I'm sure would be fun as well.
