Yeah I have been twice.

Island is very small. You can literally walk the bay in an hour. I will recommend going on the boat trip to Gozo Island. Its like a day trip , Stops off at teh blue lagoon. Nice view, Clean water, I found the food in the area quite cheap and all. As fro relaxing and chilling you cant go wrong tbh.

 

Check the Popeye Island too. Its where the original flick was shot. See if you can get on the boat trip there too. Try and cop the wine from the village too. its made there fresh for you. Its like a fruit punch wine. 8 Euros a bottle.

 

Yeah i wont spend more than 4/5 days tops. You can get bored after.

I've also been with the missus twice. I loved it. Can't speak for now but the food when I went was amazing. 

 

It's small but beautiful, pretty much everyone speaks english. It's a good place to go as a couple, if you're just looking to chill.

Horrible boring little island

Found them to be very racist, friend got with a Maltese bird and the locals was making monkey noises at him when he was going for a stroll with her

Hate the English too as still holding grudges from what happened time ago

Nothing to do in Malta, shit bars/clubs, shit food and shit people and full of ageing tourists

Avoid booking, would rather spend 4 days in Southend then Malta tbh

Yeah book it, you will have great fun on the island of gonzo looking at clear water or visit one of the biggest film flops the Popeye Island

You can always chat to an old couple on the pebble beach about how he fought in ww2

It all depends on what you are expecting.

LOL @ that Thuns story though. Monkey noises. Probably was the other holiday makers from the other parts of Europe. The Italians and the brit banter boys. They were alot about when I went. It was during the european cup final

But, the people are generally cool from my experience. I'll let you be the judge. I usually go to holidays with low expectations. So I take everything as a bonus. However allow going somewhere expecting racism though or else you would take everything to heart.

Just got back from my road trip around Europe with the mumsie

 

Zurich is underrated you know. Lovely town with pure winners of ethnic nature - Not that I was going to do anything as I was with my marge and being married and all just admiring the view

 

Austria has been black listed though, got stung twice on 2 different days by the traffic police. What smacks it is I wasn't even stopping off anywhere in Austria was just driving through in transit

 

Got stung once for driving on the freeway without a permit (Lol?) and another for speeding, even though the positioning of the speeding gun was a blatant trap. €320 total damage

 

Yeah but Austria and Switzerland you need a permit just bare that in mind if you intent to drive there

i'm considerin biking into geneva from france, parking up in annemasse on the border to avoid it the day we visit, half hour bike ride

Didnt drive through France, I flew most of the way actually. The toll was a lot on myself being the only driver. Wont lie I was struggling at times 

 

Easy jet > Munich

Munich > Dolomites mountains, Italy (via Austria)

Dolomites mountains > Zuirch (via Austria + Liechtenstein)

Zurich > Easy jet

 

All in all probably 1000Km drive in 2 days
