LMAO f*ck*ng owned.Light Heavyweight bout: Anderson Silva vs. James IrvinSilva DESTROYED HIM. I didnt think he used dead him like that. Inside the first minute of the first round stoppage. Irvin went for a middle kick, Silva grabbed his leg and landed a straight jab. Irvin downed, cue barrage of punches to Irvins face by Silva, about 8. Mario Yamasaki stops the fight, Irvin had been cut on his cheek.Lightweight bout: Hermes Franca vs. Frank EdgarEdgar wins on points. Was quite predictable. Franca wasnt very good.Light Heavyweight bout: Brandon Vera vs. Reese AndyFell asleep. Vera won though.Welterweight bout: Anthony Johnson vs. Kevin BurnsThis was a major fight!! Both guys were swinging for the tree tops, Johnson nearly had him in the opening 10 seconds of the 2nd round. Landed a huge knee, Burns staggered back on to the fence, then Johnson landed a couple more knees but Burns withstood the attack. Then Burns went for a punch, feined with his left palm (outstretched) which accidentely poked Johnson in the eye. Half his finger went in, was pretty nasty. Johnson yelped and fell to the floor, Burns looked at the ref and the ref stopped the fight. Very very unlucky on Johnson, the match went to Burns via TKO but really shoulda been a Johnson win via DQ or a no contest.Middleweight bout: Jesse Taylor vs. C.B. DollawayCB dominated from the start, won by a peruvian necktie.Heavyweight bout: Cain Velasquez vs. Jake O'BrienVelaquez deaded him, first round stoppage.*catches up on Affliction*

When is the next Affliction event?Imagine Affliction teamed up with Elite XC...I was gonna say UFC would be in big trouble if this happened but then if you mentioned MMA/Cage fighting to a normal non fight fan the first thing they will say is UFC

I dunno Dana broke it down quite wellThese organisations are starting up and are already trying to compete with the UFC and losing a hell of a lot of money in the process. However Affliction have Donald Trump backing them. The reason Affliction can be a rival to the UFC is all because of the money issues. If the UFC payed and looked after their fighters properly they would not have this problem. Affliction have been able to start up and get big names like Sylvia and Arlovski that were created by the UFC.

So true, UFC salaries are beyond a JOKE!Some of the typical midcard/undercard fighters make about $1,000 (500 quid) per fight. If you take into account the fact that they dont fight regularly enough, put their bodies on the line, spend sh*t loads of time training and the fact that UFC are making sh*t loads of money off pay-per-view sales and tickets and merchandise sales, it's easy to see they're getting ripped off. Also remember that UFC restrict fighters contracted to them from fighting for other organisations while under contract so alot of UFC fighters aint making sh*t from fighting. Whereas those who fight with SOME other organisations are allowed to fight in say Japan a few times while still being able to come back to that organisation.Ofcourse it's a different story when looking at the bigger named fighters who usually top the bill...they got it nice but even if they did the math they'd find out they would be entitled to more.

Why would Arlovski do this to himself he hasn't got a chance he's a very average fighter to be honest

Ok does anyone believe Arlovski's gotta chance Arlovski and Sylvia are on a par and Sylvia didn't last 2 seconds the only people i believe that have a chance of beating Fedor is Randy or Frank Mir when he's on form and Fit (no Homo)

I HONESTLY dont think theres anyone good enough to beat Fedor but Arlovski is a great fighter and still stands a chance. Nuff fan boys are all like "Fedor iz god and iz gnna killz him in da first 3 sECUNDZ!!!!11".And yeah the UFC fighter salaries are a joke. Jardine got payed $10,000 (any ultimate fighter salary tbh) to fight Wanderlei. Wandy got like $100,000.Affliction pay their fighters good money. Sylvia got like $800,000 to get KO'd lol. UFC salaries just take the piss. Tito and Chuck got ripped off the worst when they fought they made absoloute millions in ppv buys and only saw like 4 million each

Lesnar wins by TKO 1st Rd.Florian wins by SD.Main event looks to be f*ck*ng sick. Fitch the number 1 contender will give GSP a very hard time. I'll still go with GSP by UD.
