Almost finished Dreams Of My Father, got only a few pages left. Did the same deal, with the WHSmith's in Victoria, will start with The AUDacity of Hope soon, but I've got Rich Dad, Poor Dad which NEEDS to be read ASAP...

Wasn't it a few months ago you was posting in the Obama inauguration thread saying how he's going to betray us all?

Dreams of my father is meant to be better. Got it lying about on my desk, will have to read it when i finished with all this work.
Both are great, but I enjoyed Dreams of My Father moreAudacity is an earnest and powerful book, and while it's intelligent and inspiring it's a more nakedly political statement. The more personal tone of Dreams of My Father was what really engaged me... the introspective narrative of self-discovery, of heritage and race, family and identity. Very resonant in an increasingly-cosmopolitan 21st century
