The Brixton Pound already has support from Lambeth Savings and Credit Union, a financial cooperative owned by its Lambeth based members.Brixton will be the third Transition Town to have its own currency, following Totnes in Devon and Lewes in Sussex both of which have been very successful and received national media coverage on television and in the broadsheet press.
