If you travelled faster than the speed of light you would reach what is known as C, and time would begin to slow downeinstein suggested that time is not constant as stated before
say no more Gage, its getting emotional

What you said is wrong. No matter what speed it is, the faster you go the longer it takes for you to do something (time slows down).Imagine a ball bouncing and your in a car driving at say 30mph, there will be a horizontal distance travelled by the ball (meaning time became slower for it or you could say it took longer to travel the vertical distance) but if you were stood still, no horizontal distance would have occured. If you increase the speed, the horizontal distance the ball bouncing will increase, meaning time will slow further. Now, as you approach the speed of light (which is "C"), the horizontal distances become so great that time itself has nearly stopped. When the speed is C aka the speed of light, there is no vertical distance in the ball as the horizontal distance becomes infinate!!!This means time has stopped. If you go faster than this speed (which is currently impossible) then in theory, you will start going back in time.Warp technology and worm holes are the only theoretical things that can make something travel far distances quicker than the speed of light.

whats C?why would time slow down though?
Ignore what gage wrote.C = speed of lightThrow a ball and you will understand why time slows from when it bounces.

the horizontal distance travelled by the ball. What do you mean by that?

Ashman, it is hard to explain without diagrams but I will try.1. If you stand still and bounce a ball, it travels just one distance, vertically. This is the normal time.2. If you start moving horizontally at a certain vector and continue to bounce the ball, you have to consider the horizontal and vertical distances the ball had to travelled.3. The faster your horizontal vector becomes, the wider the horizontal distance of each bounce will become.4. It will reach a point where the speed is so fast (C, speed of light whatever you want to call it) that the horizontal distance of the bounces will become infinate..... You know what, I can't be f*cked, to long to explain plus it is 01:15am.

So you are talking about the distance you travel in the time the ball bounces up and then hits the floor again?Distance=speed x time so if speed is C, and time is finite, how will the Distance be infinite?

I told you C = speed of light!!!!!!!!!!!The end result will be a straight line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ARRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Anyway. If it is possible to break this and go faster, the ball will start going in reverse and start to go faster in reverse till it was at the stand still rate you were bouncing it at.Allow it man, I'll tell you the rest later.
