Frank Furta

The best guitarist of all time?

Recommended Posts

The best is way too subjective, you have guys like Steve Vai and Satriani who are technically excellent but have "no soul", and guys like B.B. King and other bluesman who played with touch and that but could never run off Malmsteen arpeggios.I'll go with Hendrix personally, safe answer, hard to argue. But my favourite is Jimmy Pagesince ive been loving you

Personally mine is Jimi Hendrix. For the past week all I been listening to is Jimi and some of the stuff he does during his solos make me want to break out and play the guitar in public not giving a flying f*ck.Slash and Eric Clapton also stick in my mind but Jimi for me.

Whenever this argument comes up, I automatically think of Jimmi Hendrix and Jimmy Page. But my biased view about RATM means Tom Morello has to be up there as well.*Gasps*
