The Roots of EL - B

Recommended Posts

Anybody got this?Bought it today from HMV for 9 pound and just finished listening through it, heavy heavy cdAllthough i have the odd few tracks off it on white labels already its certainly worth the 9 quid. It features new masters of old white labels, remixes and DAT tapes from El B from the whole 2000+ era that pioneered the dubstep sound and it has an indepth analysis of the feeling and attitude coming out of El B & his camp around the switch from the dark garage to the proto dubstep sounds & a little comment from El B & his feelings of each track featured in the sleevenotes. Anybody that likes the old Groove Chronicles/El B/Ghost/Dark Garage sounds then id definately reccomend. The tracklist is:Ghost - The ClubGhost - 2000El - B - ExpressEl - B (Feat. Simba & Juiceman) - Show A Little LoveGhost - Lyrical TempoEl - B (Feat. Juiceman) - DigitalEl - B (Feat. Juiceman) - Buck n Bury (Original Mix)Zed Bias - Time Out (El - B Remix)Zed Bias - Neighbourhood (El - B Remix)Brasstooth - Celebrate Life (El - B Remix)El - B (Feat.
