of course and it all checked out, vin number/logbook etc

 

did another hpi check now and its got the correct updated details (previous owners, date acquired by current keeper) but my mate is telling me this shits so sophisticated now dont be surprised if i still got bumped

 

what doesnt look good i dealt with a female for the whole transaction (over a couple days) and paid cash

He might have a similar car and just jacked pics the previous seller had, my boy tried to tell me to do this on Gumtree and Autotrader to seek out new customers.

However it might not be the case in your cos you'd think the seller would hide the plate number imo.

To be honest I understand your concerns and do the checks but honestly so much of cars and the Internet is lies. So many people use it to troll you into registering your interest, getting you into their dealership and rely on selling you something similar or finding something.

The amount of times people tell me prices they seen online and I know they false, and the seller just wants you to think they are the cheapest (using 5k and 8k mpa terms instead of the normal 10kpa, for example, relying on you stalling and then them saying the car/deal that never existed in the first place is gone or relying on you making adaptations to the car so they can start doubling the price on options like metallic paint to get it to the real price or claiming their a problem on your credit so you'll have to pay an extra £10 a month) and by the time you even realise the eventual price shift it will be too late as you've invested so much time and handed over your personal details and potentially have parted with some money too.

I think youll be alright mate

But not to worry you, my mate used to sell ringers and would get a female to sell the car, also the car you have its unusual to have a female seller and have been getting stolen by keyless thefts.

But I could get s decent whip with the allowance and my own money which belongs to ME

See when you have a company car I assume you have to give it straight back when you leave? And when you get 5k allowance they pay that monthly in your wage right?

Mercedes has revealed the first images of its new SLC two-seater sports car, which is available to order in January before arriving in showrooms in April.

 

The SLC replaces the SLK in Mercedes’ line-up. It’s based on that car, with its electro-hydraulically operated metal roof, and features revised frontal styling as well as fresh engines and a liberal application of new technology. The new front section features a steeply raked radiator grille that’s available in a variety of finishes.
