You won't get it until at least 2019.

First shipments are end of next year, starting in the US and it's first come first serve

They've had 350,000 pre orders so far, they don't have the capacity to build that many in a year (I think they said there aiming for 180k but I'll need to find the source), so even people who've pre ordered already but at the end of the queue are looking at late 2018, at that time people will still be pre ordering so you better get yours in if you want it before 2020, and you need to pay £1000 deposit 

By then you could prob get a second hand model s for a couple grand more.

BMW is pretty aggressively chasing electric drivetrains. I think an all electric 3 series should be out by then, the plug in hybrid version just came out.

VW as well, couple e tron audis out next year, plug in electric golf just came out, they'll prob also have an all electric version by then.

Hyundai seems to be going the hydrogen route so I dunno

I just can't see other major manufacturers seeing tesla get billions for a car that won't ship for upto 2 years and just sitting around

I tend to just take it out with whoever I get my car insurance with. Their bells n whistles package tends to be cheaper than the equivalent AA/RAC

Been with AA a few years, rarely use them but when i have theyve been good, one time the guy drove me to the nearest eurocar parts, picked up the part, drove me back and fitted it for me, that alone was worth the years fee for me.

Is there oil leaking on the floor?  Probably your gaskets or seals.

what fuel you using? i had a  diesel and if i used tesco or asda after about 50 miles it got mad sluggish

BP, Shell, Texaco were fine

Tesco was worst, after about 20 miles i literally had to push the pedal all the way down, then 2 seconds later it would kick in 50% of the time with black smoke from the exhaust. and the economy would go to <20MPG

im pretty sure it was that, the 3 times after i got tesco on purpose to test it i got the exact same thing

BP ultimate made it run so smooth and economical, just tap the pedal and it zings. bp regular is great too, shell ultimate if you want the best accelaration
