You ever driven a brand new car bro?

The drive on the new polo kicks the shit out of my 04 plate Golf, this is to be expected tbh.

Dont get me wrong I usually hate Polos (older models) but this one is a dream to drive.

Plus all aspects of the interior kicks the shit out of the mk5, which is terribly basic

Got a shed load of features in this car too which just makes for a more enjoyable drive

Do you lot have certain mileage figures that will just instantly make you run a mile when searching?

Obviously i know it depends on the car etc etc, but out of interest, what is yours?

Depends how well they've been looked after. You could get cars that have 150,000 mileage and still be running good, or you could get cars that have 30k mileage and be worn out. Look for service history, timing belts, full services, oil changes/transmission fluid changes etc.

Cars now days are reliable, and parts can be purchased for quite cheap, just make sure you avoid dodgy back street garages and go to independent garages with good reviews.

he knows that mate but he was asking what milage puts certain people off...if there was a 150k car that i knew was in tip top condition i still wouldn't buy it because it's done 150k miles... some people just get put off by certain things..

mines prob 79k and under, don't like anything over 80k but obviously if you haven't got much to spend you have to compromise

Its down to preference. Although a car with 150k miles with a good engine might sound good, you also have to remember that the suspension, sub frame, gearbox, interior trim, seats and steering wheel has endured the same 150,000 miles so won't look pleasant unless ofcourse they have all been replaced.

That cars engine is gutless need summet more powerful for that car

Hardtop convertible with only 2 litre petrol engine all show no go

For 18k u can get a 335 and there rapidddddd

the REASON why he is selling it is because its too fucking slow.

i've driven it myself and it is so slow, overtaking takes the piss.

thats why i would only buy a 325i or above. I couldn't live with the fact that I have no power under my right foot.
