Need a quick help

Right, Ive just moved in to a new property and I had to get the BT landline connected so an engineer came etc. Then I got an extension cable to connect my broadband aswell but if someone calls I gotta take out the internet cable because if I dont theres this "zzzzz" noise when speaking on the phone so I cant be on the internet and speak on the phone at the same time. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?I dont wanna call an engineer and pay again.

no idea tbhhave u got the cable what switches the line into two? like a plug socket extender tingshouldnt have to pay say its their fault

Ye I got everything it just makes some stupid noise if I chat on the phone while the internet cable is still plugged in so I gotta take it out each time which is long

i had this problemu kno the broadband filters the lil fat thing with a small n big connectorthats only on the extension init? n the fone is in the original socket where the extension comes from?thats how mine was when it made that noisesolution?get a broadband filter on both socketsif u already did that, then f*ck knows

Use a filter like thisPut the wire from your modem into the empty hole in the pic. Other one is for the phone.That might solve it

or try moving your phone away from the socket if you can, also anything on charge near it will cause it.
