2 charged over live hand grenade left on Kenny Dalglish's wall

Two men have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder after a live hand grenade was found outside Kenny Dalglish's home.Bomb disposal experts removed the explosive from his garden wall in Southport, Merseyside on Sunday night. Simon Lewis Ignacio, 28, of no fixed abode, and Carl Higgins, 29, of Helston Green, are due to appear at South Sefton Magistrates' Court later. A police spokesman said the discovery was not connected to Dalglish. The football legend, who recently returned to work at Anfield with a senior role at Liverpool's Academy, is expected to return home later following the club's pre-season tour of the Far East.
