of course the mentallity and consequences are similar. the game is the game everywhere.this also includes the useless polititicans who just talk and want to juke stats not solve the real problems.also shows how crap so called 'urban' dramas made in the uk have been. they needed the wire to make a realistic comparison.

Bingo.And to a certain extent my area is, but most inner city areas in London are but just not to the degree of what is depicted in The Wire.
