Jay Simpson joins QPR on season-long loan deal

Jay Simpson has today joined Queens Park Rangers on a season-long loan.The striker, 20, is moving to Loftus Road to gain valuable experience with the Championship side.It is the third such spell for Simpson, who has risen through the ranks with Arsenal. He spent the 2007/08 campaign at Millwall and performed so well he won the League One ‘Player of the Year’ award. He returned to Emirates Stadium at the start of last term but an impressive brace against Wigan in the Carling Cup attracted the attention of West Brom.Simpson spent the second half of last season at the then Premier League side. In total, Jay scored two goals in 17 appearances for The Hawthorns. Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wishes Jay the best of luck during his time with QPR.
