TBH, Lucas was more effective than Stevie G in the roles.

Just stick Stevie behind Torres.

Poulsen is so so so sh*t. Kuyt and Maxi are frustrating, if we don't get Suarez it is a joke, because we might as well have kept Mc Babel.

At least we are hustling wins, don't care how they come, just need to clock them up.

Johnson has been solid since being switched out to the left. Agger immense again. But Skrtle just makes needless fouls.

Still nervousness when we are sitting on just the goal lead, and sitting back way too deep.

But two clean sheets in a row is great stuff.

Stevie ' Always has to play a f*ck*ng longball ' Gerrard

:/

swear i could count on one hand the amount he played in that first half, been just keeping the ball moving tbh

Mate from what ive seen id rather Lucas play where he is. Gerrard is not a centre midfielder

So would i but he kept it simple more often than not which was my point, too many people jump on his back for long passes even when he's barely playing them. Its asif people sit and wait for him to misplace a long ball so they can groan and criticise. Gerrard should have been further forward where Meireles was but saying that Meireles was very good again tonight. In an ideal world Lucas wouldnt have been injured and Poulsen wouldnt have started this game

Shelvey looks a good player, good to see him getting to play alot. Pacheco needs the same tbh, he's kinda in between the first team and the reserves at the mo, would like to see him come on more, he creates chances alot. Agger was good tonight, looked in alot of pain from that pantsil challenge though, hoping he's not injured again.

Kellys been sick in his time in the first team, gets forward well and he's strong in defence.

Good to see us retaining the ball alot more under kenny, everyones keeping it simple and you can notice the little things like the furthest forward midfielder dropping deep to create a triangle and play our way out of trouble as opposed to what was previously players looking up seeing no viable options and having to attempt a long ball thats easy to cut out.

And don't get too unhappy lads, but looks like Konchesky could be off.

Paul Konchesky is in talks with Fulham about rejoining the club and ending his miserable five-month spell at Liverpool as the signing who came to represent Roy Hodgson's brief and unsuccessful time at Anfield.

Konchesky left Craven Cottage in late August to become Liverpool's new left-back but his performances under Hodgson, previously his manager at Fulham, led to him being heavily criticised by the club's supporters and demoted from the team.

The 29-year-old has not played since Kenny Dalglish took over from Hodgson earlier this month and Fulham are hoping a deal can be arranged to take him back to London before Monday's transfer deadline.

Officials from the two clubs were due to hold talks about the deal before tonight's game at Anfield and, if everything goes through, Liverpool will get back in contact with Aston Villa about Stephen Warnock returning to Anfield on a loan deal for the rest of the season.

Nottingham Forest are considering whether the Konchesky deal, in turn, could enable them to take the 19-year-old Fulham left-back Matthew Briggs on loan. Chelsea have refused to let Ryan Bertrand join the Championship promotion contenders now that Patrick van Aanholt, another of Ashley Cole's understudies at Stamford Bridge, has moved to Leicester City on loan.

Im thinking Kennys protecting him, from all the staff at the club the person that matters (kenny) knows what Pacheco can offer, Whats good is anytime the camera pans to the technical area and you see Pacheco you always see him upbeat, celebrating when the goals go in like hes made as assist.

Kenny will bring him on when he knows the games fully in our hands, its too risky bringing him on and then we concede, draw or loose. Im sure Roy killed his confidence after the Northampton game.

Liverpool Football Club announced this afternoon that they had agreed a fee of up to 26.5million Euros with Ajax for the transfer of Luis Suarez, subject to the completion of a medical.

The Club have now been given permission by Ajax to discuss personal terms with the player and his representatives.

Its done.

Hopefully Nando stays till at least summer, then if we sell him, its for £45-50 especially if its Chelsea and we use that cash and some extra to re-shape team.
