Chelsea will produce evidence from the FA which they claim can clear their name in the Gael Kakuta 'tapping up' controversy. The club are still waiting for FIFA to explain why they were given a double transfer window ban before launching their appeal. And a major plank of Chelsea's defence is that the FA authorised international clearance for Kakuta after consultation with the French authorities. Chelsea wrote to the FA two years ago asking for clarification of Kakuta's position at Lens before making a move for the talented teenager. Lens claim Kakuta had signed an 'aspirant' contract to agree professional terms at the French club. But an investigation from the French FA could not confirm that was the case and wrote to Football Association giving international clearance to sign Kakuta. It is this authorisation which will form part of Chelsea's evidence in their appeal. During last month's FIFA arbitration meeting which found against Chelsea, the French FA claimed they HAD subsequently discovered evidence Kakuta had signed a pre-contract.A Chelsea source said: "There is a vastly experienced administrative team at the club who have dealt with these siuations over many years and to suggest Chelsea would ride rough-shod over these regulations is ridiculous. The club received international clearance from the French authorities which gave them permission to approach Kakuta."
Fifa = Cunts. This is definitely gona back fire on them, Simply becuase they didnt hear both sides of the story before they started throwing thier weight around.

But some feel they aren't goign to over turn it, so they took the decision to suspended, so they could buy and then take the punishment cos they never saw this punishment coming in the last window.
exactly. cue big spending in January and a few pre contract agreements being signed or players being signed and loaned back.so when the punishment comes they wont feel it as much FIFA yet again drop the ball

Tbf it was always going ot be suspended at some point, since they have made an appeal they can't have the ban till they have been given time to clear their name or have been judged to be guilty.

why cant football fans post a comment based on facts rather then the team they support.ask a man u fan if 7 mins of extra time is ok they say yes,ask an arsenal fan if having a player banned for diving and then let off and guess what thats fine too but get them to comment on a matter of fact that when you appeal anything the punishment is suspended to hear the appeal and what do you know thats wrong.maybe what chelsea did was wrong and that may be still the case at the appeal, but this goes on all the time with all clubs and if non chelsea fans think different then please take a reality check
