Upped the weights again today.Nice feeling.Some d*ckhead came over while I was doing the lat pulldown and asked if he could "jump in" while I was resting.Yeah fair enough.Guy comes in, ups the f*ck*ng weight to 90kg, does his set, then turns round and says "what weight did you have it on".You f*ck*ng c*nt.YOu know I had it on 80, so stop being a prick and showing you can do more than me and put it backffs

lol,which is why i dont let ppl jump in more timemachine wasnt being used while they were there..then when i start using it...they wanna jump in

lol, nah not sayin im a greedy guyi let ppl jump in dont get me wrong and ive made a few regular gym partners by doing this...but it can be frustrating when the machine was free for ages and its then they decide that they wanna use it..i just tell them i have 1 or 2 sets left and let them have it after

Lol I can't imagine telling someone they can't jump in then sitting there resting on my machine while they stand there looking at me. Just unnecessary.My bredrin goes to a gym in South. Said one time he was doing the bench and needed an extra 10KG. Put on one and went to find the other. Back in 10 seconds with the other and some other guy has found a ten and is about to start benching. My boy tells him "I was on it. I just went to get another ten." Guy just shrugs and lies down on the bench. My man just walked away. Story had me creasing.Context: My boy is about 80KG and 5 foot 10 and benches 125KG so this other guy was much bigger.

lol, thats a pisstake stillive seen an arguement in my gym cause of this sort of behaviour..only cause one dude took the other guys adjustable bench which he was clearly still usingthe guy who took it was much bigger also..so he kinda used that to his advantage

I hate that kinda sh*t.It's only happened to me once and I got much braver than I should. Same situation but with the squat rack instead.Guy jumped on while I went to grab another weight. Came back and said "alright mate - I got 1 more set - went to grab another plate". Guy looks at me and goes "Not my problem".Rage.Said "yeah fairplay. i dont wanna have to kick you in the bollocks while you're squatting though. So get off it and wait until Im done. Cheers"Said it with a little grin and the most awkward 5 seconds followed before he put the bar back on the rack and left.I was PROPER watching my back just to make sure he didnt do anything while I was squatting though.I was way too hyped back then.Nowadays I'd probably just stand alongside him singing the rocky theme tune and being the "obnoxious spotter" just to piss him off.

My bench isn't coming along as nicely as I'd hoped 2bh.I seem to have stagnated.Started doing tricep pulldowns with ropes so I'm gonna see if that makes a difference.
don't really late that exercise, i don't think you get a big enough range of movement, plus it's pretty easy to use bad form when u go heavy, try this instead:http://www.muscleandstrength.com/exercises...-extension.htmlbut use a rope.

isnt that the same as doing skullcrushers though?
Lots of exercises are very slight variations of each other. But the variation is enough to make a difference. Doing skull crushers with a 25KG plate and doing them with a 25KG bar are two different exercises. Doing it with the pulley is another one. With the pulley you can do a bigger weight as your stabilisers are being worked less.However, BMC, even the guy in the video you posted is doing his with his elbows pointing out. Shouldn't they be pointing straight ahead?

Yeah I hear that but it's like doing two exercises when one will more than suffice. So long as the weights are kept increasing, and you're targetting the muscle you want, there's no point hitting it twice from a slightly different angle. You'll end up overtraining.C/S The elbow thing.I get that wierd thing where it feels like something is slipping over the end of my elbow if I dont have them directly straight

oh, didn't clock the elbow thing, ur probably right. @Angelo, it's pretty similar to skullcrushers but i didn't realise you were doing them, i just find that the exercise you're doing seems to limit your movement and doesn't work your arm properly.

Benched 90KG 2daymy goal is 2 get 2 100kg by christmas, shudnt b 2 much trouble
Keep at itDo you do DB press as well ?Its good to switch it up, when you go back to BB you will get some good gains.Also try not to lock out your arms when benching, as that way is easier and takes stress off your chest. Try doing it when you bring down to your chest and push up but dont fully lock out ur arms, you will feel the difference
