MARTIN O'NEILL and Nigel Reo-Coker grappled each other to the ground in an amazing training-ground bust-up yesterday. It followed a heated exchange between the Aston Villa manager and his midfielder and the pair eventually had to be separated by shocked players. One stunned onlooker said: "It was really heated and at one point they fell to the ground grappling with each other although no one was throwing punches or anything like that."Reo-Coker has not hidden his anger about the way he has been in and out of the Villa team since his £7.5million move from West Ham two years ago.He was unhappy at being substituted during Sunday's 1-0 win over Birmingham. And the player also objected at being played out of position, at right-back, last season. The unrest finally spilled over during training yesterday.

Nigel Reo-Coker has been sent home from training and dropped from Aston Villa's squad for the game against Portsmouth on Saturday for disciplinary reasons.Villa boss Martin O'Neill admitted he had a "strong verbal disagreement" with the midfielder at training on Thursday. However, O'Neill denied newspaper reports of a physical confrontation."There was a mishap on the training ground," he told the Aston Villa website, adding that Reo-Coker would be back in training on Monday."It's a common occurrence between players but on this occasion, unfortunately, it was between the manager and a player."There was a bit of a contretemps and that is unfortunate. Nigel didn't train this morning and obviously won't play tomorrow."I have dealt with the issue how I see fit and that's the end of it. Come Monday, we're back to normal again. I am the custodian of this place - my rules apply."O'Neill also said there was no prospect of the former West Ham player being placed on the transfer list.

Someone on a Villa messageboard claimed to have seen Nige and MON have an argument on Thursday morning, everyone said it was bollocks because he had no source but it looks like he was right./Seems he's pissed off at being subbed off in the derby when playing well, but it was 0-0 when he went off and his replacement set up the winner. Can see why he's pissed, he's played probably 5 games in centre mid in two years, but he's gonna have to live with rotation.I reckon it's much of a nothing anyway, kind of thing that happens all the time. He'll probably end up captaining a side with a few changes v Cardiff mid-week.

I am the custodian of this place - my rules apply.
I love MON

f*ck off last 3 mins of this game has been sick. Schalke equalised from the corner, Dzeko went to sleep leaving his man to head in. 1 min later, disgusting counter from Wolfsburg. Hasebe smokes the defender, blazes the ball across goal and Dzeko slots home.2-1 Wolfs, 7 mins to go.
