Jailed for life: The £1m 'strangulation' robbers whose targets included Dani BehrThe mugger who targeted fashion designer Nicole Farhi, former TV presenter Dani Behr and a string of other wealthy women in a 12-year reign of terror was jailed for life yesterday. Daniel Mykoo was described by a judge as the most prolific violent robber to be sentenced in years. Together with his brother Matthew, he terrorised lone women with a 'strangulation robbery' technique to fund their £12,000-a-month addiction to crack cocaine. article-0-05772CA8000005DC-437_224x251.jpgarticle-0-05772F5B000005DC-984_224x251.jpgIt was revealed yesterday that Miss Behr was another victim. The brothers were described as being in a 'league of their own' stealing cash and jewellery worth up to £1million. Daniel, 29, was ordered to serve a minimum of 14 years for 84 robberies. Matthew, 27, was given an indeterminate life sentence with a minimum of nine years for nine robberies. Passing sentence, Judge Nicholas Browne QC, said the robberies were the 'worst I have ever encountered'. Addressing both brothers, the judge said: 'Your offending pattern was ruthless, predatory and vicious. 'It is by sheer good fortune that you did not kill, permanently injure or maim any one of your many victims.' The judge said the brothers used 'terrifying, sudden violence' which left one victim with a fractured skull. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12...cole-Farhi.html

I find it weird how like, people who pull off multi million pound frauds n sh*t get extra long sentences.Ronnie Biggs for example, read this:Biggs was born in the London Borough of Lambeth, England. In 1947, at age 18 he joined the RAF but was dishonorably discharged in 1949 for desertion, serving for only two years. In 1960 he married Charmian Brent, with whom he had three sons (one deceased). In 1963, Biggs's participated in the Great Train Robbery of 1963. Together with other gang members, he stole £2.6 million from a mail train, the equivalent of around £40 million ($67 million) today, after holding up a mail train from Glasgow to London in the early hours of the morning on 8 August 1963 (his 34th birthday). Jack Mills, the engine driver, was badly beaten with an iron bar in the course of the robbery. After being convicted and jailed, Biggs escaped from HM Prison Wandsworth on 7 July 1965 by scaling the wall by rope ladder. He fled to Paris, where he acquired new identity papers and underwent plastic surgery. That is f*ck*ng shower, he should have been teaching in our schools.
