A spokeswoman said "formal bilaterals were not pinned down", and added: "We have said all along that the meeting situation was fluid, but the prime minister and Barack Obama would be together and have an opportunity to meet which has happened." Asked whether there were five requests for a bilateral meeting as has been suggested, she said that in the run-up to the trip there would have been numerous calls, but the number was not the issue.

Also lol @ Brown trying to book a meeting with Obama but only managing a quick chat in the kitchen. The Brown backlash is reaching boiling point from within Labour. Charles Clark suggested Brown step down with dignity by saying he has serious health issues. But Brown being Mr Stubborn came out to say how he's fine and what not.The role of PM does not and never has suited Gordan Brown. Why they spent so long before succeeding in making Blair step down early is beyond me and Brown's reluctance to accept a leadership election is gonna heavily effect the rest of the party for many years to come.

The thing is, if you want to be PM so much, at least know what to do when you ARE PM.He did not know what to do. Spent so long wanting to be PM, then when it is his time he doesn't know what to do....He failed.LOL @ America though, with their two party dictatorship. They baff me all the time and are easily influenced.

Its the same here though reallyConservative or Labour
At least it is not a rule and people CHOSE the top two parties, they don't have to.Liberal democrats have had power before (be it some time ago) and parties can be created. In America, there are only two, pretty bad tbh.
