got served a veg lasagna on Saturday evening that I've been thinking about ever since, was amazing, but she told me she spent a while making the sauce, etc

yeah my issue is protein options feel boring, I've done the falafel/chickpeas, tofu, beans, quinoa... but I'm not inspired

c/s you feeling better though, I've not once had that feeling of needing to wait to digest before doing anything, you never have that feeling of weight in your stomach, or tiredness after eating

but you have to plan your meals better, and put a little bit of effort in

im too lazy to be that person but I'm definitely gonna cut down on meat consumption overall

never liked lentils tbh

found a new way to make egg today.. start with a relatively low heat and crack the egg on the pan, let it run around the pan so the white spreads out, add seasoning, then as the white starts to cook, fold/roll over the yolk piece over and over again, then you're left with a package that has a crispy fried-egg consistency on the outside, but when you cut into it the yolk is still runny and delicious

anyone know what this is called? surely someone has done it before

realised I liked lentils a few months ago when I tried something, I didn't realise I used to eat them as a kid as it has various different names in Africa. Gonna try one of these.

/ also trying to eat less meat simply because of the cost I don't want to switch to cheaper meat so I can eat more.

You could try a mix of red grape juice and red wine vinegar but that would be pointless imo

you won't taste the flavour of the wine, it just adds a richness and balance... and all the alcohol is cooked out anyway
