Theo Walcott has suffered another devastating injury blow after being ruled out for up to three weeks.England winger Walcott, 20, had a scan yesterday on the knee injury suffered against Birmingham on Saturday and it revealed medial damage. It has left Walcott - who was making his first start of the season for Arsenal after a persistent back injury - down and deeply frustrated. He could now miss England's friendly with Brazil in Qatar next month, a further setback to his World Cup hopes as he is battling for his place in Fabio Capello's squad for next summer.Gunners star Walcott has already missed three England internationals this season and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was left annoyed that he was called up by the senior and Under-21s at the end of last season, giving him a short summer break. He will also miss a crucial run of games for Arsenal in the title race and in the Champions League, starting with Tuesday's trip to AZ Alkmaar.Walcott suffered the knee injury after just seven minutes against Birmingham following a hefty challenge by defender Liam Ridgewell. He limped off after 33 minutes, but he does not bear a grudge against Ridgewell and does not believe it was a foul.

Theo Walcott's injury is worse than first feared and he is expected to be out for "three to four weeks".Arsène Wenger broke the news to reporters shortly after leaving for Holland ahead of Tuesday night's Champions League clash with AZ Alkmaar.Walcott limped off during the first half of Saturday's 3-1 win over Birmingham following a heavy challenge from Liam Ridgewell. It was the England international's first start of the campaign and he might have to wait a month for another one."The news is not good," confirmed Wenger. "We are without Theo Walcott for longer than expected."We thought it would be just 48 hours but it is a medial knee ligament, which is what I feared after the game. He will be out for three to four weeks."Tomas Rosicky has also been ruled out of Tuesday's game with a knee problem but Wenger expects him to be fit in "a few days". However Gael Clichy has been passed fit after an ankle injury.Nicklas Bendtner, Denilson, Eduardo and Johan Djourou are still out.Arsenal squad to face AZ Alkmaar:Vito MannoneManuel AlmuniaCarlos VelaRobin van PersieWilliam GallasBacary SagnaKieran GibbsThomas VermaelenMikael SilvestreGael ClichyAndrey ArshavinFran MeridaJack WilshereAaron RamseyCesc FabregasEmmanuel EboueAbou DiabyAlex Song

Samir Nasri and Lukasz Fabianski will make their comebacks when Arsenal travel to Wolves in the Reserve League on Tuesday night. While the first team chase three points on the continent at AZ Alkmaar, the French midfielder and Polish goalkeeper will pull on a shirt for the first time this season at the New Bucks Head Stadium, home of Telford United."The good news is that Samir Nasri will be playing at Wolves with the Reserves and Lukasz Fabianski will too," confirmed Arsène Wenger before flying out to Holland on Monday.Nasri broke his leg during a pre-season training session in Austria in July. Fabianski has not played since August after undergoing surgery to cure a knee problem.

He was 16 when he joined. With the strikers involved, he was never going to play upfront.Up until Hleb left, there was never space for him, if we had a full team. What do you expect? Jeeez.
We live in a day and age where you pay this big fee and people expect something instant. Some players need time to grow as a player, they all peak at different stages. He will come good! With the tackle he was crunched.

About no progression, gone from Championship to World Cup to Premiership, Champions League & international first choice. That said TBH Walcottt at times seems cursed...What he did at Birmingham away was lost in Gallas, Eduardo & Clichy incidents. The run against Liverpool lost by Toure's madness seconds later. Two opening goals against Chelsea, one in a final & a semi where we lost by indivdual mistakes. These may seem like minors by there incidents where if the rest of the team had done what they was suppose to, we would have pushed on and won honours, and given him the confidence and spring to kick on to that next level... However with these stop & start injuries he aint pushig on to sh*t.
