anyone know any good guides/books/tapes/videos for this stuff?my back mashes up every now and again and I'm thinking before it goes off on one again I should get into this and maybe it will help prevent it

What are you doing to mash your back up?Yoga is soemthing that takes long term commitment, perserverence & patience to see resulsts from, and IDEALLY (though not a lot of people seem to do this) its meant to be done first thng in the morninghttp://www.yogajournal.com/

got onto this for a few days and it definitely feels like it's helping after you do itbeen using this sitehttp://www.yogapoint.com/info/yogasana.htmdoesn't seem to work so much in conjunction with weight training doing one straight after the other so I do it in the morning and weights in the eveningto the earlier question: I'm mashing my back up (or was) via bad sitting posture, bad sleeping position -- used to be these things would build up to minor aches then I'd do a bit of lifting (either in daily life or weights) and it'd mash me up for a bit, and I think my bed wasn't helping either, trying to sleep on the floor more time now to see if that helps

I wanna get into yoga. I feel like being more flexible will help me throw myself around more in american football. I heard Andy Murray did yoga to get stronger before the last Wimbledon.

had 2 injuries couldnt bang out weights for over a year, was doing cardio to at least have a type of physique 

 

been doing yoga for a bit now, feel great

 

done a bit of weights and i seem fine

 

need a routine for yoga/weights
