Headphone/Earphone recommendations

Right I am looking to buy myself a new pair of headphones.

Been looking at the klipsh image s4, the beats by dre Tours and the beats by dre studio headphones.

I am open to either headphones or earphones. Been seeing alot of positives regarding the dre studios and reluctantly I would part with that much case for an excellent pair of headphones but part of me thinks when riding the bus/train with them on my head I will look like a complete tit. Hence why I have also been looking at the dre tours because the styling/design is nice and fairly unique.

Anyway what do you man say and would you rock the dre studio headphones out in public or think that anyone who does will look like a prick?

Also drop any alternatives you feel are worthy.

Cheers.

Seen loads of people with the Studios on the train etc

I have the Tours and if you don't mind in ear ear buds then they are amazing for sound quality. Pretty bass heavy too. They can be a bit fiddly though to fit or stay in your ear. If you buy them make sure you have the Sound Check On and Equalizer Off on your Ipod.

Shure earphones are very good sound wise too.

Yeah for me it is between the tours and the studios. I am gonna go apple store and check the out.

Part of me feels the studios because they are versatile. Use them for music, djing, instruments, jaming at home and don't want to disturb anyone else with your music/porn you get the picture. Also audio quality is sick

But the mian reason I would use headphones is when I am out and about in london or on the way to work etc... Part of me is conscious that I will look a tit in them. But I guess loads of people wearing them nowadays.

The tours are easier to roll around with and pack up/stash when you are out and can go running/gym with them. Also cheaper.

So I am torn. I can't create a poll at the moment because out but cast your votes. Tours or studios?
