Filming documentaries

Do u know how to go about doing this and has anyone got any examples online?

Group project for uni and its due next week so we're lookin to make it over the weekend, any serious idea's and suggestions welcome

I recently did a documentary in a group for uni too. We chose the topic of all the waste/rubbish circulating in London (wasn't my idea). We got a lot of footage about where all the rubbish comes from , and interviewed a dustman on hes views on how much rubbish he has to deal with etc..

Make sure if you do film and ask any questions to general public , make sure u get a consent form from them with a signature and name (your uni will want to see you doing this).

Choose a topic that would be easy to execute , and set each member of the group a particular assignment , I.E soundman , cameraman etc etc

were doin on binge drinking stil. wasnt my idea but i got a few interviews tonight. no point in too much planning i guess it is pretty straight forward just a matter of doing it.
