help needs please from those that know

panasonic GH3 OR GH4?

and what must have lenses should i cop to go with it?

If you have the money go for the Gh4

4k video and cleaner pictures under low light.

I don't know if you are into video but they have introduced a new firmware called v-log and that flattens the video image and makes it better for grading and skin tones.

In terms of pictures I don't think their is a big significant difference though.

Lens you want 20mm 1.8 pancake and 14 ~ 42mm pan cake.

Best thing about the camera is the fact you can buy an adaptor to adapt old school lens like canon fd which are dirt cheap.

:Y:

thanks for that bro

i'll go for gh4, those lenses and defo the adaptor, my uncle has bare canon lenses but i don't know if their fd

You can get an adaptor for the Canon Eos range too.

Just search for Eos to m43 adapter they are about £20 on eBay.

u see the v-log firmwire ting

since gh4 has wifi connectivity would i just update?

or does it come already done?

I don't think it's officially released.

You would have to-do it via the website, connecting your camera to your pc.

It's leaked. A couple forums were sharing the link. Apparently panasonic are charging £99 for that update.

Worth the penny if you are into filming. But you will get some great videos from it without it regardless.

in need of a new hobby and I have a little bit of money compared to when I previously considered this, so...

minimal amount of research is pointing me to ordering a Sony A6000 (mirrorless) - anyone got a reason to convince me not to?

Sick pics !!!^^

Yeah defo allow the reading.

Lots of Youtube tutorial videos about  to watch and all. Once you understand the principles of photography a DSLR you can pretty much work with any camera

A6300 is a nice cam. I am looking for something small mirrorless myself to take on holidays. Hate carrying my 1dc

From what I've heard/read Canon tend to be better for video primarily for the wide range of cine lenses.

I haven't tried them out as I am a Nikon user and don't care for videography.

Only just saw  this.

Thanks for the reply.

I dont think i will be needing any wide angle lenses right now tbh.
