Girl, 14, held after 'paedophile's' murder

A TEENAGE girl was being questioned on suspicion of murder today after a suspected paedophile was stabbed to death in south London.

The girl, aged 14, was arrested by police last night after 45-year-old Robert Daley was stabbed repeatedly in the chest at his flat in Brixton. Police issued an appeal to trace the teenager after Daley's murder at 6pm on Friday in Ferndale Road.

Daley was killed weeks after it emerged that he would not be prosecuted on rape charges. Scotland Yard said an 18-year-old man had been arrested on Saturday in connection with the murder and was released on bail pending further inquiries.
