Wojciech Szczesny (Brentford)Apart from the obvious fantastic news for the club and the boost it will give us it really is a pleasure to be able to watch a very talented bloke at the start of his career. In years to come we will all be able to say 'I was there...' when he began to make his mark , this kid is the real deal and Arsene knows it which is why its such a boost for the club that he trusts us with him and we can all enjoy. He is probably a couple of years away at most from being a premier league legend ...expect to see him feature next year in the Arse carling cup team , he'll go on improving in all areas no doubt but his only obvious weaker area is his kicking which has almost left him with egg on his face a couple of times. Well done to all concerned the 2nd half of the season should be really interesting now !__________________Is Arsene mad? I suppose he didnt see what Almunia did yesterday!!__________________the arrival of Chesney __________________Well lads reading this has filled me with jealousy. and hes our bloody player !Hope he can help you guys to promotion but i really hope we get him back as soon as possible, it sounds like almunia isnt fit to lace this kids boots!__________________Get down to Griffin Park and watch him play then __________________Polish fan here. Registered to follow Szczesny's efforts for Brentford. Needless say that I'm delighted with what you guys think of him. I have high hopes for the lad - he may be in our goal come Euro 2012. Hope he keeps it up for you as well! I'm Wolves' fan myself but have always liked Brentford. Not too much relevant - just for information - do you know that his dad was also a top keeper here in Poland? Bit unlucky with the national team, but kept goal for Legia and Widzew when they played in Champions League and now is a tv pundit. A very intelligent no-nonsense-and-cliches one. Seems that the young Szczesny has got a lot of his father in him.Anyway good luck for the rest of the season!__________________With the huge number of Polish people living in Hounslow it would be really good to see us capitalise on having Szczesny until the end of the season by attracting a few to matches. We could use the fans and it can only help community cohesion!__________________What about having a 'Polish day' at a future home game in honour of our keeping hero?__________________It's not just the saves, they are just the crowning glories, but his general game.He makes decisions quickly and then goes through with it - he never seems to hesitate or change his mind or stop halfway - all recipes for disaster. It is also the seemingly simple things he does - ctaching crosses, intercepting through balls....He is seriously good.__________________Today was the first time i've seen him and he didn't disappoint. Two fantastic fingertip saves today.Well done to Andy Scott for getting him to come to Brentford.__________________If there is a better goalkeeper currently appearing anywhere in this country, at any level, I would like to see him !__________________couldve been so different had he not got his finger tips to jacksons shot early on, quality keeper__________________The save from Jackson was fantastic and so important, if that had gone in it could have been a very different game.I was directly behind it in the NR and as Jackson hit it it was heading perfectly in the corner and I slumped back in my seat as Jackson ran off to celebrate...... Chesney then somehow got a finger tip to it and it deflected slightly onto the post.It was actually a great 'finish' by Jackson and he couldn't have placed it much better.... but he didn't account for Chesney!!__________________his kicking is shite though Reminds me of Nelson................. __________________Excellent today__________________shit today... only 1 great save onto the bar.....__________________................he's getting better with each game......................class................__________________The only weakness in his game I think is his kicking. He often slices his kicks and Scott was often having to tell him to aim his kicks to the left to counter the slice. But as I said on a previous thread, the best keeper i've seen in nearly twenty years of supporting.__________________There was a feature on him tonight via Sky Sports News, seems a level headed guy. Wenger was also shown in a press conference singing his praises, would be shocked if he doesn't go on to be Arsenals no 1.__________________I watched Arsenal yesterday and thought Chesney probably would have got across the goal to block Drogba at the foot of the post (a la Norwich) and palmed Drogba's second over the barBut Arsene you know best ... more games at Brentford for the Woj is the way forward __________________Don't believe the hype. He's done ok, he's learning and cost us a fair few points so far. You stick with that Almunia chap, he's much better.__________________He's got himself a nice apartment in an exclusive part of London, supposedly the Sugababes in the same block. Ashley and Cheryl Cole used to live there too.In his spare time he plays Call of Duty , he's bought a synthesiser and classic guitar. He drives an Audi A3 with a Polish registration but dreams of getting an S5.__________________Monday to Wednesday he trains with Arsenal, then he's with us for the rest of the week.__________________Can't believe our best keeper is out on loan. __________________......................I can.....................its true....................__________________An intriguing stat i've just noticed. In all the games he's played for us, 11 I believe, we've never conceded more than one goal in any of them. The last time we conceded more than one goal in the league was at home to Millwall, 14th November, Price was in goal.I know the defence has improved but well done Wojciech!__________________Arsenal definitely have the wrong Pole in goal. Fabianski og after 11 minutes tonight!__________________Sweet Jesus, have you seen what he's done now?! I reckon Arsenal might have to 'buy' his loan back__________________shocking aint it!__________________I think Arsene has no option than to think again much to our cost after tonights game__________________He cannot be recalled to Arsenal. The only slight circumstances would be an injury to their goalkeepers and that has to be backed up with medical evidence.__________________do psychological injuries count?__________________Would mental trauma count?__________________What if he offered us Almounia and Fabianski in exchange? Could we send him back then?__________________Watching their keeper tonight vs Porto, we have the better keeper and will be lucky to keep him all season__________________both of them, so Fabianski wouldn't be able to get a starting place in leagueoneI'd rather have John Mousinho in goal instead of Fabianski__________________We might let him go back if Arsenal agree to finance our new stadium - that seem fair !__________________In League one I normally expect 4 or 5 goals to be conceded a season to comedy goalkeeping and poor defending. Admittedly we got away with a fair bit of luck against Wycombe but that was what, Sczesny first poor game in 10.Manone and Fabianski always look as if there performing at the circus every game, hopeless. How on earth could anyone think Fabianski is better than Sczesny . God knows why Arsene let us have him for the season. God bless him.Weirdly Hey Jude has just come on the DAB.__________________That was his first dodgy game for us. We've certainly got Arsenal's best keeper. __________________.........................how long have Arsenal had Scottish goalkeepers with strange sounding names playing for them?..............................__________________i hope he cant be called back, cos after last nights game he will be !__________________have you watched fabianski's performance last night? lol__________________Potentially........if Wojech was in the Gunners team he would be saving shots from premier league strikers, a different proposition to league one players.Fabianski made a few top class saves last night but the first one was a blunder he'll probably never make again, and the second one should have been cleared by Campbell. I think their problems are not keepers but the lightweight midfield and no cutting edge up front.__________________David Pleat was praising Wojciech Szczesny highly last night on R5.__________________you guys don't know wenger enough. he won't play szczesny unless all the 3 ahead of him are injured. the pecking order at arsenal is simply age order. When AW explained why he picked mannone ahead of szczesny at the beginning of the season when both almunia and fabianski were injured, he said that's because mannone was more experienced. I just can't see what his point is. apart from 2 years older, mannone is nowhere more experienced than szczesny at that moment. he had a brief loan spell at barnsley in season 0708 whcih was pretty poor. He had never been called for his youth national team till recently. whilst szczesny has always been the no.1 keeper for his youth national team at any age group. he's also picked in European squad for meridian cup__________________Wojciech Szczesny has more than potential. He has turned in some stunning performances for Brentford this season, probably his best performance coming in front of a full house and loud crowd when Brentford played Norwich at Carrow Road.Congratulations to Bees manager Andy Scott for getting Szczesny on a long term loan which means he cannot be re-called from Brentford this season unless there are documented medical reason why Arsenal's other goalkeepers can't play. But Arsenal fans are welcome to Griffin Park any time this season to see how good the man who will be your number one goalkeeper next season really is. __________________as I said yesterday, it's very unlikely that Arsene is sitting thinking that a 19 year old without any Premiership appearances is the answer to his goalkeeping problems.__________________btw, almunia is back in goal this weekend__________________In all seriousness there's no guarantee Szczesny wouldn't have messed up in the Champions League. Yes he's a great talent but you can't compare the pressures of league one to the last 16 of the CL.__________________Fabianski has always been panic at ANY level since he joined arsenal, very very poor mentality. whilst szczesny showed rare consistancy for his age. I can't understand why wenger signed fabianski when he had szczesny in hand (the young pole joined 1 year earlier). anyway, wish szczesny could help you reach play off and take over No.1 shirt for us next season.__________________Needs to improve his goal kicks - they were poor today.A great keeper - but an area for improvement.__________________I've watched the goals from the Walsall game, and is just me but could Wojciech have done better with both goals?Maybe we expect such high standards from him that I expect him to keep a clean sheet every game.__________________Neither were down to him, it was the hopeless defending. Legge has done OK for his first few league games and is strong in the air but his reading of the game and positioning needs improving, maybe it's time to give him a rest and start Phillips alongside Smith at Colchester ?__________________2 bad games, he was all over the place against Wycombe__________________Wojciech let in three for the Poland under 21 team this evening. __________________Wojciech let in three for the Poland under 21 team this evening..................club before country...................__________________We're lucky we've got him this season.__________________I thought he had another good game at Leeds. We've been lucky to get him for the whole season and his return to Arsenal is going to leave a hole in the team for next season.__________________He will certainly be either on the bench at Arsenal or loaned out to the Championship at least.__________________i still cant believe the one he did save with his legs really early v easter.the bloke is a legend__________________Thought the same, it seemed like an impossible save at the time as Easter seemed to strike it well.__________________Back to almost his best today. Szczesny dealt very well with a lot of "messy" balls. YOu know the ones, the sort which bobble through without any pace and are between defender and keeper with a forward pressing. Commanded his area well and never allowed Orient to think they would score. His kicking needs a bit of work, but that's something which can be sorted without any concern. Gerry Peyton, Arsenal's goalkeeping coach, left with 10 minutes to go, no doubt pleased with his young keeper's work.__________________http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sy3qVeml60YDon't know if anyone has seen this.Great performance. He loves the Bees. Must have been in shock given the tragic events in Russia on Saturday.Slim chance of getting him back next season?__________________gotta love him__________________His reaction to the penalty and subsequent miss was priceless.__________________Lol he is a legend.. so determined to keep a clean sheet.. and when the huddersfield guy missed.. he seemed very happy__________________This bloke is going to the top and i mean the very top.He will be an established Polish international and in 3 years Arsenal's first choice. He can do everything.Kick, show braveness and be quick off his line.He is a good shot stopper, can't be faulted on crosses and install's confidence in to the defence. In the 22 years of watching the Bees he is the best keeper i have seen.__________________imho he needs to make 2 (two) howlers in the next six games to make sure he gets sent back next season. __________________I might question the bit about being good at kicking, but otherwise agree. Defence has seemed so much more solid with him there__________________Another season long loan Mr Wenger?__________________....................stretchered off..................not good.....................__________________As much as I admire chesney, and to be fair to him, he has played a large part in keeping the Bees in Div 1, it wouldn't matter if he was out of action for the rest of the season.Obviously we all hope his injury isn't too serious and that he recovers soon, but every Bees player has played there part this season in making sure we get 1st division footy next season. My message to Chesney would be, get well soon mate, and thanks for giving your all for the Bees while you were with us. When you are really famous young man, never forget your roots and how all the bees fans luv ya.__________________If he doesn't play another game for us, then thanks Wojciech, you certainly played a big part in keeping us in League One.__________________Another MOM performance__________________he really needs to improve his kicking__________________Just seeing him warming up today gave me (and I am sure the players) confidence. At times he just looks unbeatable and, without any dramatics, today was one of those days. Although clearly exceptional, even his late save was a huge surprise. Would be great if he could come back for a season next year.__________________Nearly four hours after it happened I'm still a little stunned at that save this afternoon.I hope the TV does justice to my memories. He had no right to get a touch to it, let alone keep it out.__________________.....an exceptional talent, good luck wherever he plays his football...__________________poor old Flappers.__________________Oh my God put him under lock and key cos Wenger cannot play fabianski again after today!!__________________He'll be on the bench at Arsenal next season. The goalkeepers currently are all clowns - hope he gets his chance soon.__________________so the two 'flaps' Woj made against MK Dons hasn't registered then? All keepers are falible at some point, it's whether they learn from their mistakes, Woj will IMO, but i bet it's too late for Fabianski et al!__________________He's here to learn from his mistakes and he has made very very few.You would normally expect an experienced keeper to screw up every 8-10 games or so.Chesney has been remarkable and what has impressed me the most is not his incredible shot stopping. I expected that and to a degree , given his pedigree and physique I expected it too but his decision making has been incredibly good and composed. His kicking will also improve with time.He has played around 20 games amd his level of performance and consistency has been immensely high.__________________Yep totally agree. Top class keeper in the making and we will be able to say we gave him his big chance !If Wenger doesn't want him as 2nd choice as he is too young then its his loss. He isn't known for having much of a clue when it comes to goalkeepers ! Would love him back although suspect he may be destined for something bigger than us.Just seen "that" save from saturday. Brilliant stuff.__________________ironic that ches makes a save beyond belief, only for fabianski to present a littlewoods catalogue of errors__________________He's a fantastic prospect who makes great saves but also makes mistakes. If he made them in the Premiership goldfish bowl, he would be classed, enormously unfairly, as another dodgy Arsenal keeper. I personally don't think he's ready for your first team, other than fleetingly. He needs more time to develop and I'd love it to be with us. He will be a top, top keeper though.I believe Bob Wilson watches him nearly every week so it will be interesting to see if Arsenal have the same impression.__________________He's far more decisive and confident than your current crop but in the prem that could be his downfall if thrown in too early. He makes decisions and sticks to them - you won't find him kneeling down and getting lobbed like almunia. Personally i'd say his temper and distribution are his main flaws.__________________I assume you mean Gerry Peyton (not Bob Wilson, who retired as goalkeeping coach a few years ago). A few gooners are a bit sceptical about his judgement given our current first choice! That's interesting. Personally, I think that's the problem Fabianski has as I rate him but he needs a good run of games. Doesn't look as though he'll get that with us though unless we sack Al and don't buy a replacement this summer. He's classed as a dodgy keeper but he's pulled off better saves in his short career with us than Almunia ever has. Just seems to be lacking mental assuredness. You intimated that he doesn't always make the right decision (which is the impression I've got from watching him a bit on the Football League Show) but it would be good to see a 'keeper being assertive in their own area; Almunia isn't at all confident in commanding his area and I'd rather have someone who is decisive even if it means they get a few wrong. But you're right, with age, that will only improve.__________________No way can he be classed as a replacement for Almunia yet. He might make 3rd choice.__________________He's a red card waiting to happen in the Prem IMO, his reactions against Colchester and Huddersfield were brilliant to see but won't go down well under the top 4 microscope. It would be a big mistake throwing him in now and you risk ruining someone who should be a top keeper in 3 or 4 years time.__________________It really is quite simple - putting aside Arsenal for a moment, does anyone believe that any team can win the Premiership / Champions League (which is the level of Arsenal's ambition) with a 20 year old keeper? The answer has to be no.__________________Spot on but if Chesney is serious about his career he should be pushing Arenal for a spell with a Championship club for next season__________________I'd say he's already 3rd choice now that he's had experience with you. Mannone can shot stop but his technical game is pretty poor and I can't see him having a top level career. Even in his game against Fulham where he was widely lauded, he demonstrated that he still had a lot to learn.__________________He seems like he has his head screwed on. When he went through a spell of making a couple of mistakes he admitted that he needed to learn from his mistakes, and improve his game.He also seems to have quite good positioning around the goal mouth. You have to be in the right position to make those saves. As others have mentioned above. He is not ready for the premiership just yet, as he does need more experience. But definatly a top keeper in years to come.__________________Brillant shot stopper, seems good on crosses some times and mis judges them others, his tempermant is the issue as he seems to get too wound up and keen at times, that will come with experience though and for that reason he needs at least another season playing football before he can be Arsenal number 1. IMO.__________________Agree about his temper, but I think it will stand him in good stead in the long run. I think you need that arrogant, slightly mad streak to be a great keeper. Total self belief, and to be mentally completely involved in the game at all times, even when you don't have much to do is a must - think Schmeichel... or Jens Lehman__________________Playing at a level of football like League 1 has benefited him greatly. Keepers dont get a lot of protection in comparison to the Prem and that has led Wojciech to be more decisive and brave. I think it all comes back to this issue of the basics, which i think he has a better grasp of than Almunia or Fabianski.Though he is still learning im afraid. Definitely needs another year at Griffin Park. at least! Lol.__________________Do you agree with him? Do you think he could replace Almunia/Fabianski? I think by recent Almunia/Fabianski performances he couldn't be worse could he?he meant that it was the main objective rather than play good football and score more goals. emphasis being put on kicking the ball away rather than control it.__________________Szczesny has all the attributes needed to be a top class goalkeeper: ability, agility, physial presence and confidence. I'd say his weakest point is his kicking. One part of his game I couldn't comment on is his ability to organise and communicate with his defence. That said, I doubt he is a quiet goalkeeper.Every goalkeeper makes mistakes and Szczesny made two howlers in one game dropping one cross and missing another, both of which were immediately punished with goals. This shows he's as vulnerable as any 'keeper, but also that he has the mental strength to recover quickly when he has messed up. A loan at Watford or Leeds would be a wasted season.Wenger did say Szczesny hadn't played any games in the Premiership and couldn't see how he could therefore expect to play next season as Arsenal's numero uno. I'd expect him to go on loan to a lower Premiership club, much as Joe Hart has done this season.__________________Good assessment by bonafidebee.I'd love to see Szczesny back with us next season though.__________________Do we have it set in stone that Szczesny WILL NOT be in goal for us next season , or is everyone just assuming ?__________________Of course it is not impossible, but me knocking out David Haye with a lucky shot would be about as likely. He is good enough to be Arsenal No.1 IMHO. However, his inexperience at that level will see him loaned out to a Championship club or another Prem team who will not be challengers to Arsenal.A lot will depend on AS's rapport with Wenger and Wojciech himself. If we were in the Championship I would say start brushing up on your Polish, but probably best to forget about Woj and enjoy the fact that we had a truly great keeper at GP.__________________but probably best to forget about Woj and enjoy the fact that we had a truly great keeper at GP.Something Arsenal fans, top3 premier league club supporters weren't able to say :D__________________At the end of the day, even if he is loaned out next year surely both Arsenal and The man himself would rather go to a championship club-he may well have great affection for us but it is in the interests of his career to test himself at a higher level.Lets move on__________________

Havard Nortdveit__________________ welcome __________________ welcome __________________ Welcome to little country and stay here as long as possible__________________ HelloEven if it's probably only for one year__________________ Hello__________________ wonder what he's got__________________ indeed a rather ordinary appearance of our new Viking War yesterday at the test match. When I read, however, that he wants to use the club as a springboard, then I have doubts whether the volunteer has really picked the club or the club was showing it ...Well, we hope for the best ...__________________ when he first sees the sold-out stadium will already be excited__________________ Our lawn is comparable with that of Arsenal__________________ But in England he can not smoke in the stadium!__________________ He has me in, any case than Mnari.__________________ think similar to Stefan Reinartz, it is only a question of time when he sends the bank joe direction__________________ We'll see whether there will now be the first use of minutes by the injury of Andy hope (of course still hope Andy can play)__________________ Nordtveit is the new Reinartzwill probably play with us good season and then : Cry__________________ Not enough minutes today__________________ Havard Nordtveit Norwegian U21 had to give in the European Championship qualifier twice beaten. Against Croatia, there was a 1:3, against Serbia, the young Vikings lost 0-1. In Norway the group is now behind Slovakia in second place, followed by Croatia, Serbia and Cyprus. __________________ Sturm Graz to be interested in him, but Bader is well have been talking contract extension, though he has actually signed with Arsenal until 2011 ...__________________ He is Arsenal player, we and they must agree with Arsenal for longer__________________ If possible, I would keep him (and if it's just a loan), which we will pay in the summer probably Mnari, Ottl (both end of the contract) and Tavares (alas, bader for something -.- ') will leave and so far only Cohen established as a midfield obligation. He is currently our only real alternative for the central defense ... if one prefers not Pinola inside.__________________ He is currently our only real alternative for the central defense ... if one prefers not Pinola inside. Not so convinced in central defense either, but maybe he would even increase. Something must have convinced Arsenal he can be big time.__________________ Does anyone know why he play today - and not Maroh?__________________ The Hecking should know - he must indeed have thought something in the establishment, even if no one can understand the thoughts ...__________________ Does anyone know why we hired him?Oh right, yes, as Reinartzersatz__________________ The boy has already slept only against Dortmund, we look at only the third goal. He is currently playing for Nuremberg, but only by Arsenal (contract until 2011) on loan.__________________ Not happy__________________ That would be mistake has long been regarded as THE talent at Arsenal, the hopes were enormous. Can hardly imagine that such a big step back if he went to Austria. But he is unquestionably on a par with Soma and shield box - if not over it ...__________________ According to Bader he wants to tie Nordtveit longer to the club, it is in the Nürnberger Presse. Nordtveit should feel very comfortable in Nuremberg, and seems to be not averse to want to stay longer in Nuremberg. However, this will be decided in England, as to how the future of Harvard looks.__________________ His performances have picked up would actually like to extend with Nordtveit. It is now in print kicker confirmed that Bader wants to extend. Frankly, it surprised me a bit that Harvard is so happy in Nuremberg - as written there - to me he looked like he has not much commitment to game and team. But it could also be on a more sober Scandinavian nature - or even some of his age.Is certainly a very talented, interesting player in perspective. Right about what a standing he has among the "Gunners" as a young man in Norway and even had me by the club he has actually only partially satisfied (and before that at Salamanca, he not so to resounding success, I believe). They had the Appendix I think hope that he could replace as IV / DM-1on1 Double Reinartz, which worked only limited. In the IV he was indeed brought little - and for some in the first leg against Hannover made a bad impression. As the sole 6 at that time under Oenning in the diamond he has pleased me well enough. Although has good tactical understanding, and could also work well and decided against the ball - in the opening game but remained - in spite of the fundamental n clear potential pass play - but very, very much incomplete. Also in the under Hecking newly installed double six he could give more the more defensive part ("destroyer"), although even more so the Ottl Defensivstratege is - and straight forward in the building game design would not go further. Can I really only remember a compelling game in Stuttgart - but it must be admitted that, in general, increasing team performance he was not bad and has recently shown as part of its possibilities as well passable performance against Bremen.__________________ As reported Sturm Graz have interest in defensive all-rounder Havard Nordtveit. The "Blackie's search" for a replacement for Mario Sonnleitner. The 19-year-old Norwegian is currently playing in the German Bundesliga for the first FC Nuremberg, but only on loan. The player stands at Arsenal until 2011 under the Treaty.Nordtveit has long been seen as a great hope for the future in the defense area and would, Ragnvald Soma (Rapid), the Norwegians second in the Bundesliga.__________________ certainly an interesting man. However, I do not understand quite how this was planned. it should be a fix-commitment if we like we keep and if it is to borrow again then he will only have to renew his contract with the gunners, as the current expiry is yes 2011th. should there be no contract extension with arsenal, then probably several prospective customer to match on him.__________________ Probability of that: 5%If he has his contract with the Gunners renewed, why he should be loaned to Sturm Graz? He now plays already almost 1 year for the "Club" and if this keeps class, then a fresh loan to Nuremberg is most likely.A fixed purchase of Nordtveit is not in anyway question, 1 Graz Sturm will have no obligation of millions to firmly around the Norwegians, 2 Arsenal will not see him anyway MMN can be drawn, only one third and Topgebot Nordtveit for there is certainly much more attractive offer, such as from the Austrian league.__________________ Huge potential.I can not imagine him going to Sturm. Arsenal want to keep him, he went on loan to ensure match practice and go back with experience for a greater league. If Arsenal no longer relies on him, then this year he certainly goes for a big transfer fee and Nordtveit should have other greater alternatives than storm. He should have a regular place at Nuremberg, but some time he just train.__________________ He will go back to arsenal who will ensure that Nordtveit goes where he play as much as possible. Second half of our season he has played less but better. I honestly can not imagine that he will once again lent to us, if this situation is not yet changes.__________________ Ruling out the transfer - not fixed but will change I think is very unlikely! However, there are three possibilities, the MMN can not be excluded completely:1st He extended at arsenal and give him to storm2nd he switches to the club and will be fixed immediately3rd he changes to fix storm, but after real-madrid-model -> buy back clause for arsenalnow I remember even a fourth possibility:arsenal offers him as an object for exchange or Beichler Jantscher to__________________ He will not get many more chances this season. In games where he could accrue for the FCN he has disappointed me also very much.In my opinion, werder a special duel strength, yet large range will be detected. And the ball handling is rather average. My conclusion: If Nordveit seriously is made even more hope for a future at Arsenal, he should prevail at least in the FCN and master player. Going in the Austrian league is in some ways a step backwards, even if its to there big clubs that are better than the FCN - he can bury his chance to play in the Premier League. For me Nordveit has not have the talent to play in the Premier League...__________________ Where we must remember, that nobody knows what Arsenal has with him. Maybe they have long since decided to extend his contract and he will not want to go out in the summer again whether to FCN, storm or anyone else ...__________________ a mediocre player from a mediocre club in great britain__________________ Remains to be seen ... I also think that he would have no chance in the Premier League for a huge club like Arsenal. Has the talent to be a good league player here, I would not deny him that, however, but he is still very young. :D__________________ We must keep Nortdveit for next season, good player. Next year he will play 100% as we dont not have money for new players and lbreno IV leaves us and we then only have wolf and Maroh (possibly Wollscheid), we will not give IV__________________ He has shown good points, but been unable to enforce the club.He has found no link with the game, has not proved his fighting force and is technically far more average. He certainly has been on a learning curve, which therefore is showing now but not convinced.Perhaps he is still developing, needing more operating time, but this season the club he was has not had the expected gain. He goes back to London better which is good for London not us.__________________ Arsenal have indeed noticed also, He should play DM position. Arsenal situation is well, interesting, this young Norwegian is, imposing and refined but too early for that league. Either he must again be awarded to the club or at a club in the other top leagues. That storm graz buy him, I can not believe, nor do I believe in Arsenal loaning him to Austria.__________________ let's face it ... too good for Austria but not good enough for Arsenal.__________________ I remember that in the summer when he came to us, in England gave an interview with Wenger, in which he said Nordtveit now needs the ability to play in such leagues further like the 1.Bundesliga. So I do not think he is now sending to Austria. Next year, either a further loan with us or a loan in England, otherwise I could not imagine. Will play for Arsenal one day is good enough just very young.__________________ And how do you know so well? Are you sitting on the board at Arsenal?__________________ Not yet, I can reassure you. ;)On the one hand this is a bit more common sense. What betters Arsenal, when Harvard plays only because he has no competition in austria and not because he is the better and has prevailed here?On the other hand, I can still remember a newspaper article was written in which the future of Nordveidt. There Nordveidt confirmed that Arsenal in the winter break say are far from satisfied with the newly added competition in Nuremberg and is an exciting situation has revealed that they would observe carefully, and then judge.__________________ Norwegian forces in the starting lineup against MainzClub: Arsenal can be loaned Nordtveit still uncertainNUREMBERG - It was only Tuesday afternoon, but the Saturday, that is the next opponent FSV Mainz 05 was already omnipresent footballing weeks to start the first FC Nuremberg. "Concentrate from the beginning, Mainz will be close, because we can not afford mistakes," warned club coach Dieter Hecking his players at the first training exercise.Although initiated Hecking coach Dirk Bremser and Armin Reutershahn the two groups, but the boss was standing right in the middle with a sharp eye, corrected and praised equally unmistakable, if not already did his assistants. "Accuracy is going on sharpness, the ball must come, otherwise we run into the Mainzer immediately" in the counter attacks, Reuters Hahn criticized strongly by an inaccurate pass.22 field players roamed yesterday before the grand holiday of spectators to see the many female fans were also amazing. Also present was an American "U 20"-international, who imagines aloud Hecking a few days. Personal speculation wanted to know put on hold the club coach, however, currently going "only" to all our destination. And now once called relegation. Even if there were one or the other mind game - "what we want to plan now," the football coach asked rhetorically and rather referred to the May 8 date on which the League membership is to be secured."At the moment I am happy to draw on unlimited resources, all players except Breno" to have available, and was explicitly stated Hecking satisfied with the performance, which had two players shown in the 2:4 defeat in Bremen, he had called up a surprise: Juri Judt and Havard Nordtveit. The Norwegian loan from Arsenal London - "of course I watch the Champions League match against Barcelona" - admitted to having been nervous at first, "but I was raised in the course of the game." Of course he is hoping for a further use of whistle, when it comes to Mainz. But it will probably take up again after breakfast on match day, until he has certainty.Until then, he is also the weekly phone call with his parent club Arsenal have led: "The Chief Scout then followed very closely what I do," told the Norwegians. So he had said the Londoner, it was after two years without holidays have been quite good that he is not in the last few weeks, is how even hoped for, came to the train. I've loaded in the gym extra shifts and I brought in the training - and I can from the two new still learn some things, "said Nordtveit and acknowledged the same time that the situation is not under the obligation of Andreas Ottl and Mickael Tavares for him simply had been."Arsenal" like the situation, told the 19 year old that his future can not say anything concrete. He liked it at the club, he would not mind to stay longer: "But the decision lies with Arsenal. There you may know already what I'm doing next season, I know it is yet. "Although he finds the words of his current coach has apparently taken to heart:" Right now counts only the game against Mainz. "__________________ Arsenal want Nordtveit to play, if he had no competition he plays and has match practice so either way.__________________ Match practice is always good no matter what? There is still a difference if a player plays well, because he has no competition, or because he has prevailed against supporters. That suggests something about the players on their own initiative. It is noted, as its current performance level, compared to other good people is how he behaves in the competitive struggle and how he can handle the pressure.__________________ Class player, hardly has played...A player like Nordtveit certainly has other options than Sturm Graz. Sorry!__________________ If Nordtveit is such a talent as Arsene Wenger always maintained that why he wants to send to sturm grazAt Nuremberg he has not been outstanding but had outstanding minutes, more after winter breakKeep him here__________________ In terms of transfer reports we have submitted two offers. The obligations of both the Uruguayan Gary Kagel maker (Real Madrid II) and the Norwegian Havard Nordveit (Arsenal FC) were, according to sports director Oliver Kreuzer financially difficult. Here's is probably as in Kagel maker. Interest is present, the funding would be difficult ....Nordveit is a good player who can play in England.__________________ Must play DM.__________________ Naturally they say he is in central defense, but when had minutes there he has not convinced me completely. In DM he is not good enough on the ball. I think Nuremberg was the middle part of the bigger plan for him by Arsene Wenger. He will go back as he has not played enough but will go back a better player.__________________ He has played 20 times Arsenal should be happy.__________________ He cost Arsenal three million eurosHe got match practice but he lost it in the course of the season to Maroh. The competition in the internal defense of the Nuremberg shows with captain Andreas Wolf and Bayern-loan Breno almost overpowering. The Viking is a good player, Arsenal good? Not yet, in time yes.__________________
