Will Lil Boosie Face New Charges & Death Penalty?

Lil Boosie may face new charges and even the death penalty soon. Lil Boosie, born Torrance Hatch, was sentenced to 4 years last year (2009) for violating his parole. New reports have surfaced alleging that he was connected to the murder of another Louisiana rapper and four other people. Michael Louding, a baton Rouge teenager, was charged with the murder of Chris "Nussie" Jackson, the Louisiana rapper in question. Louding was also charged with 4 other murders and faces 5 counts of first degree murder. Lil Boosie himself was initially named the primary suspect after the FBI learned he place a $30,000 price on Nussie's head. Boosie was never charged, but now that Loudin and 4 others are being charged, Lil Boosie may face additional charges if the men are proved to be affiliated with Boosie as authorities claim. A charge of 1st degree murder could warrant a prisoner being put on death row in Louisiana. More details should come out at a scheduled press conference today.

What do you think is going to happen in Lil Boosie's case? If found guilty, do you think he will be executed by the state of Louisiana?

Lil Boosie Found NOT GUILTY in Murder Case

Rapper Lil Boosie has been found not guilty of first degree murder ... stemming from the shooting death of a 35-year-old man back in 2009.

Boosie was accused of ordering a hit on the victim ... but after the jury deliberated for roughly 90 minutes, they decided Boosie was not guilty.

Boosie -- who was tried in Baton Rouge, LA -- could have faced life in prison if convicted.

During the case, prosecutors tried to argue that lyrics in one of Boosie's raps proved his role in the murder .... but clearly, the jury didn't buy the argument.

Still, Boosie will not be a free man anytime soon -- he's currently serving an 8-year prison sentence stemming from drug charges.
