Listened to the album in full today and I think it's a fairly solid attempt at bringing her sound to the masses but it falters in certain respects.

I see what people are saying about the production being a bit of a let down. There's a fine line between an album having a coherent sound and sounding like it's short on variety, I think this one leans towards the latter.

'Why You always Here' is in a very similar vein to 'As I' and although it's a good tune it doesn't show any progression from a tune which is nearly 3 years old. 'Power on Me' fits in the same bracket but is forgettable. If you're familiar with the UK House scene there's no house tunes on here that are going to impress you because nothing veers very far from the formula Geeneus has been using for a while but a lot of the people who buy this album will probably be quite impressed by what to them is a new sound.

The down tempo tunes like Go Away and Disappear are highlights and I'd be surprised if the former isn't released as a single.

'Easy Please Me' is the worst track on the album in my opinion, she steps into typical rnb mode lyrically talking about how much more a man has to do to make progress with her, these tracks can work but nah.

I think it will be well received by the mainstream but people who are familiar with Katy B and Geeneus will be a bit underwhelmed on the whole, she's definitely got more in her locker though.

Obviously not word for word kidda but keep the sentiments, spruce up the writing and add those sarcastic jokes you 'down with the urban kids' types love to make .

I hope you didn't put it has a vintage rnb feel to it in your review by the way...

Came to post that. Dunno how I feel about it really, like its a decent vocal but not sure if it tops the instrumental by itself.

She's really good with catchy choruses though I must say.
