Phantom Hertz : Low Voltage Series

Recommended Posts

We are proud to present the first of many releases in our new

series called Low Voltage. These releases will focus on the medi,

dubby, psychadelic, loungy or otherwise spaced out realms of dubstep

music. You can be sure that the music featured in these EP's will be

smooth, laden with bass and full of intelligent rhythms. We bring you

the roots of the sound, being handled by future bass technicians.

Broke-N

1. The Good Ole Dayz

2. Substance

Broke-N always brings a unique and diverse flavor into his productions, and this release is no different.

Playful, bouncy rhythms and powerful sub bass coupled with hypnotic vocal samples keep the vibe of this

release up-beat, but not over the top. 'The Good Ole Dayz' is an eyes down chugging tune that will keep

your head bouncing and mind spinning. Lively yet psychedelic, it has a good crossover potential and fits

well with many styles of bass music. 'Substance' picks up the energy a bit, transitioning into a four to

the floor beat that will have the dance floor bouncing in unison. Together, these songs make a well rounded

single that can be appreciated by a wide variety of listeners.

Both tracks are mastered by TK Mount @ TKM Audio

Low Voltage Volume 5 - Out November 14th

Basic A

1. Serenity

2. Serenity (Dub Fiend Remix)

3. Cavedweller

4. Cavedweller (Whyrez Remix)

Basic A starts off this release with 'Serenity', a gorgeous, minimal track that rolls along with

layers of impossibly deep bass, crisp drums and and psychedelic vibes. Deep and meditative, with

just the right amount of reverb, this song is achingly beautiful.

Dub Fiend takes 'Serenity' and pushes it forward with a more upbeat rhythm. Staying true to the

original intent of this song, however, his remix is both emotional and serene. Never forceful, this

remix captures the essence of the track, while creating a unique interpretation of the sound.

Bringing you back into the subterranian depths of bass music, 'Cavedweller' is an abstract and potent

composition with sparse drum sequncing, hypnotic mids and a timeless feel. Formula is a word lost on

Basic A. He challenges the trends of dubstep music, and in doing so creates a unique and powerful sound.

Whyrez sends 'Cavedweller' on a bumpy journey in his remix, dragging it through the mystical dream world

of future garage. Paranoid yet serene, this song will have the listener hanging on every nuance,

sending them to the depths of their psyche and making them beg for more.

Low Voltage Volume 6 - Out November 23rd

Morocha

1. Where My Good Dreams

2. Eve Doctor

3. Drug Box

We at Phantom Hertz are proud to introduce the world to Russian producer Morocha in

the sixth installment of our Low Voltage Series. If you are looking for music to shred

the minds of your audience, any of these three songs should do the trick. In a

psychedelic, post-industrial wave of audio meltdown, Morocha pushes the boundaries

of dubstep music, creating a sound that is all his own. Abstract yet danceable,

this dark and twisted psy-dub release will send the listener into another world that

is both terrifying and intriguing. Morocha puts heavy emphasis on atmosphere and

progression in his productions, while also incorporating plenty of bass weight.

All tracks are mastered by TK Mount @ TKM Audio

Out Today!

All tracks are mastered @ TKM Audio

It's hard to compare SUBFREQ to any other producer out there at the moment.

His unique interpretation of the sound comes from a background of house and

drum 'n bass, and he incorporates his own West Coast swagger to create a truly

unique exploration into dubstep. Multiple layers of bass and melodies combined

with crisp drums and a little something special yet undefined make up SUBFREQ's

powerful sound.
