FAO Those Who Have Had A Bad Morning And Are In Need Of A Laugh

Recommended Posts

]Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp believes his side have a real chance of winning the Premier League this season. [/b]

Redknapp, who guided Spurs to their highest Premier League finish of fourth last term, is preparing for the club's maiden Champions League campaign.

And the 63-year-old believes this season could see the White Hart Lane club lift the league championship trophy for the first time in 50 years.

Contenders

"I feel we could contend for the title; we have got the players here," said Redknapp.

"We have to aim for it. We could win the championship.

"Last year, we went in saying we wanted to finish in the top four and if you don't aim for things, you have no chance."

Redknapp, who has added only the Brazilian midfielder Sandro to his first-team squad so far this summer, admits he will need to bolster his resources if Spurs are to challenge in Europe.

"The Champions League is massive - forget budgets - we just want to be there," he said.

"If we can get into the group stages, we can make an impact. We have good players - some fantastic ones at our club. And they can get better.

"We are going to have to rotate at times - we cannot play the best players all the time. I feel that, if we can bring one or two players in, it will make a difference."

Manchester City’s Elite Development Squad – formerly known as the club’s Reserve side – will kick off their Barclays Premier Reserve League campaign with a home clash with Aston Villa on August 31.

A condition affecting Tottenham fans whereby they're always convinced their going to win the Quadruple, and their newest ridiculously overpriced signing is heralded as "the next big thing".

If you challenged last year you are naturally a challenger this year.

If you finished in the top 5, and spend 100m in the summer, you can make strong claims to challenge.

Anything else is positive talk, but unrealistic talk.

Goin on like Liverpool have won the Prem 5 times. Liverpool challenged last year, Liverpool are in the CL this year. Covering all that up with some sh*t joke.

And your club is massive considering the amount the Prem titles they have won. Puts Blackburn to shame.

Might as well bring up all the FA Cups we won back in the 70's and 80's with this sort of argument. Shits pathetic Lahi, get a grip buddy.

Why are two fans of clubs who have never won the Prem, talking about Premiership titles?!

At least for Liverpool fans, Everton haven't won a Premiership title.

Dont know whether to make that out as a dig at us or a dig at them.

How convenient, so Everton are your biggest rivals now when it suits you.

Ok in that case, West Ham is our derby.

Biggest?

Some sh*t deadout derby anyway, the whole ground comes like Craven Cottages neutral zone.

No I prefer to just say they are our rivals. Cos they are small like Tottenham and sayin they are "biggest" gives them too much credit.

Your both minuscule compared to us

Couldnt care less mate, i deal with facts, and the facts atm are that we clearly are a better team with a far brighter future.Suggest you clutch and cling on to all that Shankly and Paisley nonsense to get you through these tough times.
