think it's a bit shitty that certain people say weaves are a form of self hatred...

It's a hairstyle, not skin bleaching

I don't want to come off 'Pro black', nor start some race thread, so I'll refrain from going into detail, but what you JUST SAID is ridiculous.

Barring exceptional circumstances, weave is a f*cking disgrace. DO NOT WANT.

Obviously being white I don't have such heartfelt feelings on black hair or how it should be.

I think white dreads look sh*t, but I don't see it as some sort of race treason...

But yeah, weaves are fine by me

I wore weave for a long time but decided to have a break from it a few months ago and its the best thing i could have done, my hair is in so much better condition and so much easier to look after now, i dont personally think there is anything wrong with weave but it f*cks your scalp/hair and i dont fancy having a receeding hairline anytime soon so im done with it 2bh
