You can apply in whatever name.

The only time they'll need you to use your full name is when they take a copy of ur passport and handing in p45/p46

I have two middle names on my passport and all bank accounts but don't have them registered on any of my work stuff, the applications I did or even on my C.V

if it's a pronounciation thing, surely You can just shorten the real name,

allow the fictional english name and never tellin people Your real name out of shame.

and nah, i'm sayin if it's a pronounciation issue, it's normally coz the name's long

the name in question should be Shan for short, but if he prefers Ricky and never tells any1 the real name, ol tite him anyway.
