L'Implosion

Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri may be closing in on a return to full fitness but it looks as though a new book written by Jean-Pierre Paclet, the former chief doctor for the French national football team, could cause him further headaches.

Entitled L’Implosion, the explosive tome reveals the arguments, troubles and personality clashes which defined the Raymond Domenech Les Bleus coaching era and highlights Nasri’s disruptive influence amongst France’s Premier League contingent, and in particular towards Manchester United’s Patrice Evra and his former Arsenal colleague William Gallas, who recently joined Tottenham Hotspur.

Despite not being selected for France’s traumatic South Africa World Cup campaign, Paclet pinpoints the former Marseille playmaker as a trouble-maker at the European Championships in 2008 making public Nasri's apparent disdain for veteran teammate Thierry Henry, as well as clashes with Tottenham Hotspur new boy WIlliam Gallas and Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra.

“Here was a kid with a dozen caps looking down on players with a hundred. Scarcely believable. His behaviour gets on the nerves of almost everybody, and he has the gift of really annoying Henry, Gallas and Patrice Evra,” Paclet explains in an excerpt transcribed from The Times.

“Most of all the relationship between Nasri and Ribery was very tense, from the time they were together at Marseilles.

“They were more like kids in the playground than professionals on a pitch. Ribery would cause general laughter if, say, he put salt in my coffee. If he did it to Nasri, there would be no sense of humour from him.

“One day Ribery found a picture showing Tatiana Golovin, the tennis player and Nasri’s girlfriend, sitting close to a male tennis player in the stands at Roland Garros and stuck it up in the dressing-room. Luckily one of the physios ripped it down before Nasri could saw it.”

Nasri, who has earned plaudits from Arsenal fans for his productive performances in pre-season, suffered a knee injury on the opening weekend of the season against Liverpool and has missed the Gunners last two Premier League outings.

Expected to return to Arsenal first team action in two weeks, the player is understood to have been frustrated at the timing of his latest fitness problems having recently been recalled to the French national team by new coach Laurent Blanc only to be sidelined for Les Bleus opening two Euro 2012 qualification games.

TBH, Ribery & Gallas are KNOWN cunts. Henry, that's my dude & everything, but even he has a complex.

Good on Samir for not having a bar.

It ain't even about Nasri disrespecting his 'elders' because I can ASSURE you, had it been Makelele, Zidane, Thuram, Lizarizu, there's NO way he would've shown disrespect.

Gallas, Henry & Ribery aren't good role models & the debacle at this WC just gone should tell you that.

Yes same way as Cesc, don't act like Cesc doesn't have the same chip on his shoulder.

Cesc just is wiser and often displays his more to his oppenents.

Over time Cesc is slowly turning on his team-mates, been going on for ages, never forget when Cesc and Nasri walked off Anfield after the 4-4, bait complaining about our back 5 and wondering how the f*ck we drew, the disgust was clear.

Even against Blackburn at the weekend I sat there and thought, you know what poor Song, cos he is the man caught inbetween defence and attack.

Yeah, was thinking this moreso. Thought you were comparing the Nasri situation.

I swear Nasri rates Henry?

Because didn't Nasri tell Gallas to get out of Henrys seat one time?

f*ck Ribery and f*ck that square headed c*nt Evra

Nasri sat in Henry's seat on the team bus in Henry's absence, when Henry had his back injury, anyway when Henry returned to the national team he got on the bus and Nasri was in his seat, Nasri made Henry have some hang time in the aisle, then he moved.

The older pros, well Gallas felt it was rude for Nasri to do. Then Nasri & Gallas beefed in training.

Some gay sh*t TBH.
