Rose was talking about his opinion of Duke back when as an embittered Detroit ghetto teenager.. being forthright about his prejudices at that time. The context was clear imo, and Jalen even clarified it several times before the documentary even came out

In that light, the Grant Hill editorial seems like an overreaction to me. But I can't knock him for being sensitive about it given how much of that crap he's put up with in his career

Playoffs are 10 games out or so.. Eastern conference is wide open at the top, Bulls Celts and Heat all within 2 games of each other, Bulls have top seed atm. This team is really firing with everybody healthy - and Rose is just unstoppable. Lot of buzz around the idea of him as MVP.. would make him the youngest ever :Y: Don't know if we come out of the East this year but conference finals should be a realistic target... Coach Thibodeau is a genius, coach of the year by far

San Antonio's lead over the West looked sealed until recently, injuries are piling on and they're shutting some key players down til the playoffs. Lakers could catch them, they seemed to have banished the demons again and broke into a good run in time for playoffs. Bynum is showing his potential defensively and on the boards. Looking scary, at full operating power nobody takes them down in the West...

Cavs just beat the Heat, in Cleveland

Cavs first double digit win of the year.

And Bosh got slated, again.

Cannot wait for the play-offs.

I'm backing Rose for MVP, he has been phenomenal for the Bulls this year. The media dislike of LeBron will probably sew it up for him.

^ highlights from 3 months of games   actual pisstake

On another note. 2011 Hall of Fame inductees:

Tex Winter and Artis Gilmore - their continuing omission was a disgrace for over a decade each, eventually reached the point where the embarassment was too much for the voters to ignore.

Dennis Rodman, Arvydas Sabonis & Chris Mullin - 80s/90s legends all. :Y: I remember people wondering last year whether Rodman would ever make the Hall because of his 'ways', but he's deservedly in there this time round. Easily one of the best rebounders and defenders ever.

He's been doing it literally all season. Only other legit candidate is Dwight, but Rose has been incredibly clutch all year and has led his team to more wins

Rose left lacerations on Rondo's soul last night, it was ritual slaughter. You can tell those two detest each other

Bulls look likely to secure #1 seed in the East. and also possibly homecourt vs Lakers  Could the Lakers have to win two straight playoff series without homecourt to get the 3peat?
